Just take it from me and the countless other guys that have gone from a happy, fulfilling long-term relationship where we saw each other regularly and exchanged plenty of "I love yous" and whatnot.. to having their s/o flick a light switch, shutting off all feelings and sense of connection, and basically end up ghosting us (because they found someone in that moment that they deemed was more attractive). It can be like torture not having proper closure, but if you try pressing her for answers (what did I do wrong?) or letting your feelings out it usually just results in you coming off like you're having a meltdown and looking pathetic. I made that mistake before, lol. Best thing is to just cut contact and move on with your head held high, no matter how hard it is in the moment. Even if you can't sleep at night because of it, whatever.. just take some time and get back to doing you and the things that you enjoy. Also make sure to avoid the common pitfalls that a lot of guys end up in. She will try to reach out to you when she's bored (any other time, you won't exist to her). Don't fall for it. If it doesn't work out with the new guy, she'll probably try weaselling her way back into your life (resetting back to the "last working configuration" basically). Don't fall for that either. The second she dropped this on you, consider it over forever because it'll never be the same. She couldn't even do you the courtesy of actually talking to you about this or trying to work it out or make things better, so it's not worth it to entertain her any further. 100% this. I know its tough. My girl gave me the whole I have a lot going on and think I just need to be by myself schtick, which I foolishly believed (because, in fairness, there really was stuff going on; family deaths, etc.) but then of course not too long after, I saw she was in a new relationship. I cut off contact with her completely after that. Fucking bitch. --- These pretzels are making me thirsty!

I think the worst / most frustrating part is the people who always say you just have to be yourself, be confident, but Ive always been myself, never put on an act, etc. and still.. nothing. People fall for it constantly, sometimes it gets "heated" for this site for no reason. In the meantime, he just moved on to post the next thread to get everyone incited. Most likely saying "Dance puppets dance" He actually comes back to certain topics. But he usually only says, Most people say ______. Sometimes replacing say with choose. But thats also because sometimes, he does post news. And people want to talk about it. Because were all different, people will take different sides of the argument. And blah blah blah. But, that is the point of forums, so I dont know why people consider it an issue... The issue (for me) is that none of it is beneficial or constructive. Nearly EVERYTHING that's posted is about race if not everything, and all intentions are meant for causing arguments. A healthy discussion is great. An educated debate is something I'm all for. But not for when they have malicious intentions every single time. There's no point in discussing anything when you know it's going to devolve into an argument Yup lol it amazes me that that [redacted] is able to constantly post shit like that and nothing is done about it. --- These pretzels are making me thirsty!

First time was because I had already previously scheduled a treatment for my back that obviously took priority (and when I had said that, I think the message I got back was that that wasnt a valid reason or something which is BS so I just said fuck em and didnt even show up... assholes..) And the second time, I got a text the night before that said I didnt have to even show up. --- These pretzels are making me thirsty!
