There are multiple baseball teams named after what color socks they wear. New York's basketball team is named after pants. Montreal's hockey team's name means "people from Canada", and while they still had one so did Vancouver's.

Sports team names are stupid, is what I'm saying.
vancouver still has a team......

Notice how there's four political categories, and American right-leaning Libertarian is one of the four. Now compare that to the real world--do you really think American right-leaning libertarians represent 25% of the political views worldwide? It certainly doesn't represent very many governments worldwide, I'll say that much.

Phasing out that quickly is kinda dumb because you get some huge effective marginal tax rate in that band.

I dont think universal checks are great policy in the first place though (a large fraction of people getting the checks were not hurt financially by COVID, myself among them, and theres not a particularly compelling reason to give them money when it could be spent on something else more targeted).

It's given as stimulus so people spend it.so.it helps the economy continue to run.

Nothing more complex than that really

If you want a bare essentials run with the best movies and the really important ones I would suggest this:

Iron Man
Thor
Captain America The First Avenger (not REALLY necessary, but you get a lot more out of Endgame for watching it)
The Avengers
The mid-credits scene from Thor The Dark World
Captain America The Winter Soldier
Guardians of the Galaxy
Avengers Age of Ultron (meh, but really important)
Captain America Civil War
Doctor Strange
Spider-Man Homecoming*
Thor Ragnarok
Black Panther*
Avengers Infinity War
The mid-credits scene from Ant-Man and the Wasp
The mid-credits scene from Captain Marvel
Avengers Endgame
Spider-Man Far From Home*

*Not essential, just commonly held as one of the best. AND I GUESS GOTG2 ACCORDING TO THIS GROUP.

Sweet this is what I need it's half as long

So, as someone who has seen maybe 4 of these movies, and marginally wants to see the best ones but also doesn't want to slog thru the crap, where would I start? What should I skip? I've seen everything in phase 1 except captain America, but I've only ever seen iron man 3 and gaurdians of the galaxy one.

I don't really want to re watch the first phase junk, and there seems to be some littered throughout that aren't great either
