I've started listening to them a bit lately too. That song has a strong early 00s feel. I could definitely see it played in the background of a WB prime time show.

I've seen bits and pieces of his podcast over the years and they were either funny, interesting, or featured great stories (Joey Diaz being a favorite).

People dogpile now because it's the easy thing to do, but he seems to have a solid podcast with guests people actually care to watch.

Only if they come with a butt flap.

Yakuza 0 and DMC5 came out after it, so they can't be getting worse.

I enjoy the nostalgic feelings thinking about the past, but recognize them for what they are, feelings of the past. It's fine to get lost in feelings of the past, but you can't get stuck there.

Hell, I'd never listen to Linkin Park again if that were the case. Their albums are the backing tracks to my teens. I can't hear them without dredging up some old memory.

Late night gaming sessions with my friend, then hitting up Mcdonalds or Taco Bell. Fond memories of my broke ass early 20s.

They sacrifice service speed to cut down on spending while jacking up prices. A turkey, ham and cheese sub was 10 bucks a few days ago. No chips no drink just that. I was flabbergasted.

This is why I stopped going there. Yeah it's low quality, but it was worth it at 5-6 bucks. Now they charge the same price as places that have better food.

Cousins, Quiznos, jimmy johns,etc all have better subs at that price point.

Jimmy Eat World's Clarity album is really good chill mood music.

After I broiled a hot dog for the first time, I never went back to boiling.

Boiling is the worst way to cook most meats.

I rewatched the original trilogy recently and loved the first, thought the 2nd was worse than I remembered, and thought the 3rd was better than I remembered. Haven't seen 4, but I'm not hearing good things.

That said, the 1st is an all time great movie and didn't feel dated to me.

Idk why they would change what has been working for them.

They make good games, but they tend to be niche a.k.a not highly profitable. I love platinum, but this isn't exactly surprising.

That was the ps3. The ps2 was the rpg with a side of variety pack console.

It wasn't a casual console so much as it had something for everyone. That's a good thing for gaming.

Also, all consoles are mindless time sinks.

I'd be more likely to agree if you said ps2. Once I got a ps2, my GameCube was just a Melee machine every few months.

It was my first souls like. It felt very middle of the pack. Not bad or good, but pretty forgettable. I know souls games are known for how they trickle their lore, but it felt non existent here.
