On the other hand, I'm glad my awkward teenage years aren't chronicled in full on the internet forever. That being said, "the past" is big. I'd probably draw the line at pre-antibiotics, indoor plumbing, and electricity. I have no problem practicing "voluntary homelessness" when I go camping. But I like knowing I have a warm bed, a real toilet, and Advil to come home to. I'd love to see ancient times as a fly on the wall, but if we're going much further back than Shakespeare, I'm a modern, native English speaker and I'd barely be understood in Shakespeare's time, and if I pulled my zippo out to light a cigarette I'd end my day burnt as a witch if anyone saw what I was up to. I can't even imagine any ADOS wanting to go back in time further than 1968, despite having their own bathrooms to themselves. --- Stop asking me.
