The vaccines in no way allowed the delta variant to spread more easily in the population. Breakthrough infections, as in being able to test positive for the virus, are still relatively rare. They are still heavily disproportionate to cases in the unvaccinated population.

Here in California at least 80% of cases are among the unvaccinated with a majority of the population in the vaccinated group.

I mean that entire era of RPGs was definitely influenced by Eva just as much as anime itself was for a while, but while it's certainly not a complete 1 for 1 copy it was a more extreme example than the rest. That particular moment was just the cherry on top.

These sanctions are basically finger wagging, which is a distinct lack of any substantive intervention in any way, shape, or form. Economic sanctions (which are ongoing but not what happened recently in case the two are being conflated) are a lack of positive intervention. Say what you will about sanctions in any form, but "significant contributor to terrorism" is ludicrous. In some cases it's literally what terrorists want us to do.

It's something that is certainly not decisive on its own, but coupled with other evidence shows a pattern.
