Fantastic series, honestly. 3 and 4 get a lot of criticism, but they're still really fun movies. I'm not the biggest horror movie fan or anything, but those are some of my favorites in the genre for sure.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.

The gameplay was at best a watered-down version of AAA games, at worst mechanically stupid and arbitrary.
All of the characters were bad.
The story was uninteresting until the very end, where an interesting plot element was introduced, but there wasn't any time to develop it.
The entire game is like 7-8 hours long (though that may be a good thing, because I hated it).

It's all just really bad.

Though, I've played worse. This one is just the worst that I've actually completed.

I've tried to bring myself to watch, but I detested season 10. It felt super bland and the best episodes were "forgettable" with the worst being horrible (the emoji robots episode and the monk trilogy).

The finale was almost incredible after a strong part 1, but the entire thing being resolved by the biggest deus ex machina ever conceived ruined it all.

I actually still haven't watched the Christmas special because I disliked S10 so much. Which is a shame because I liked 8 and 9 a lot after nearly dropping the series the first time after the atrocious S6.

AoT is one of the more depressing, existential horror works out there, it was tough to get through the first season. Honestly, I only got into it after watching WiseCrack's videos on it but it's fucking great.

For what it's worth, the dub is only like 2-3 episodes behind the sub (which is on break until April). It keeps up with the sub really well and they air almost side-by-side.

Love that game so much. The story was fantastic and the OST is legit one of the best gaming OSTs ever, if not the best. The gameplay was really good too (though I can't help but compare it a bit unfavorably with DMC/Bayonetta). It was just all around amazing.

The best advice I can give is that, if he's letting something like that bother him, he's probably a shitty person and you're better off without him. I know that doesn't make it an easier pill to swallow, though.

You know, vampires in general are weirdly underutilized in games. They're such big creatures in pop culture that you'd expect way more games about them.

For notable games where you play as them, there's like, the Vampire: The Masquerade series, and I guess Vampyr, though the latter didn't seem to do that great.

And for notable games with them as primary villains, it's mostly just Castlevania.

I guess there's playing as a vampire in TES, but in Oblivion and Skyrim it felt more like a drawback than a legitimate option. I think there was some expansion that made it better in Skyrim though?

I dunno. My friend and I were discussing this recently, that it's pretty odd how there aren't more vampire games in general.

IIRC the ultimate edition only has some extra DLC costumes, and maybe some music or an extra Persona or two. You don't really get much of substance if I recall correctly.

Persona 5 is fantastic, though. It's quite long, so gear up for that, but it's a really great game.

Current AD is amazing.

It's good, silly fun that doesn't take itself seriously at all. It honestly reminds me of peak South Park in just being a fun/silly show, where SP tries to make social commentary and FG just sucks.

I'd put it below Bob's Burgers for currently airing animated shows, but it beats the rest easily. I honestly think current AD beats out the supposed "peak" AD too.

It was okay. The fish sex stuff was super awkward and a lot of it was predictable as hell. Who didn't see that gill thing coming?

The side characters (the gay neighbor, the fellow cleaning lady, and the spy) were the best parts tbh.

What, in the live action series? Sure, they were fine, but it's tough to judge since most of them amounted to nothing and only existed to make Milla Jovovich look better.

I kind of liked it. They main premise wore itself really, really thin and by the end it was like "Okay, yes, I get the joke.", but I'll admit that I cracked up at the payoff with Sharon finally deciding not to worry about school shootings and being happy right after her son got shot.

The Cartman plot sucked, though.

I actually love the David tribe. Recent seasons have moved far away from us getting to know the players as humans, which makes it tougher to care when they get blindsided (omg, Chelsea got brutally blindsided! Wait, who was she again?). I liked that the premiere humanized the David tribe with some great stories about their lives.

Best premiere in years, either way. This cast feels a lot stronger than GI's cast.

I just wish Courtney Hadwin had pulled another rabbit out of the hat in the finals: 'Papa's Got a Brand New Bag' was the overall single best performance of the season.

Funny thing, I voted 10 times each for the acts that got 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. They finished in the order that I liked them too. This is one of the first times that I've ever watched a season of AGT and been genuinely happy with the results.

But Athena does nothing for 90% of it, and her biggest contribution is jobbing in a short filler case until Blackquill bails her out and carries her hard. And in the DLC case she actively becomes a joke and she only exists to be mocked for her uselessness. Athena gets it really rough in 6.

IIRC Mia Fey was legendary. Phoenix is just trying to reach her levels.

The series highlights that he's pretty much reached her level by the end of 3-5. By AA6, he's honestly way past her.

Phoenix > Mia > Apollo > Athena for the main defense attorneys in the series.

There are a few that we catch glimpses of (Diego, Gregory, Ray, Dhurke), but we never really see any of them enough to actually judge how good they are.
