Dual Destinies was an Athena game.
I can see the argument that Spirit of Justice was Apollo's game, but there's no way anyone can convince me that DD wasn't Athena's.

5 was definitely Athena, but Apollo still got some significant content in it.

6 was definitely Apollo's game. It definitely rounded out his arc.

I've seen 4-6 called the Apollo trilogy before, so it's not that much of a stretch.

Of course not, of their old IPs capcom only cares to give new games to Street Fighter, Ace Attorney and Resident Evil, Megaman is stuck in re-release and collection hell.

They definitely don't care about Ace Attorney. The last genuinely new AA game that they made was 6 years ago, and it's been all rereleases since. GAA was just new to everyone outside of Japan since they finally localized it, but they haven't developed a new title in quite a while.

I'd love for them to prove me wrong tomorrow, but with how things stand, it's starting to feel like the series was kind of forgotten. It doesn't help that it kind of doesn't have anyone leading it right now, as the guy who was in charge of the main series left Capcom a while back, and Shu Takumi is only really interested in doing more GAA games and not the main series.

Really odd to do a full recast of everyone, honestly. I get some of them, given what's happened in the past few years, but most of the original cast is still active in VAing, and they've been reprising these roles for years.

With that said, I know most of those VAs, and they're solid picks. I'm sure they'll do fine with these roles.

On that note, I kind of wonder if Atlus is brave enough to add a male romance option for the male MC in a remake. They've been really hesitant to do that (Past Persona 2, kind of), but people have wanted them to. Still, I'm not sure if they'd want to dip their toes into that in a remake and get into the controversy of being seen as changing a character's sexuality in a remake or whatever.

It may be the worst kept secret ever, but it's rad to get official confirmation. It looks great.

It's funny to see the people who always accused their political opponents of being thin-skinned and of canceling anything that they don't agree with engage in constant outrage over things that don't impact them and to call for a new boycott every month.

I mean, it's not surprising in the least, but it's funny to see it play out.

I wish I liked that game, but it's one of my least favorite Tales games.

The combat system was only great if you played as Asbel, because everyone else had half of their moves filled up by spells to prevent you from doing anything genuinely cool. I used Malik because I liked him, so I never really got to do as many cool combos.

I also just disliked the story and flat-out hated the characters.

I've always felt like I'm missing something, because I regularly see Graces F listed as a top game in the series for people, but it just super did not land for me.

This law is fucking abhorrent. It genuinely makes me feel sick.

4 pieces is probably my limit before I feel super sick. I don't think I'd come close to being able to finish it all.

They kind of tried it and it didn't pan out. Allegedly Ono shut down the idea on later attempts.

With that said, they should absolutely try again. There's a big audience for the VS-style games, and while it seems like rights are becoming more of an issue for those (especially with Marvel), Capcom easily has the roster to make a pure Capcom All-Stars.

Excellent series as a whole. I do wish that ZTD was better, but still.

Arise was such a massive disappointment, as someone who really likes most of the rest of the series.

The plot starts strong, quickly becomes a boring nothing, and then goes off the rails hard. The cast also sucks. Everyone sans Dohalim is either boring, annoying, or both.
