It's something that you literally accomplish with inaction- eating less, buying less food, etc. Just dont pack a lunch and leave your credit card at home. Environments feel congested (basically small arenas connected by long platforming sections), they made ammo absurdly limited which takes a lot of freedom out of the gameplay and kills the pacing, and the marauder is the utter antithesis to everything the Doom series stands for. I think it's a good thing for budding developers but you are always going to have publishers that will engineer ways to make money from their labor. AAA games are better than ever now. Do people not remember the xbox/ps2 days when we had a flood of shooters and action games that were over in ~7 hours? It's also not bloated af with nonsensical side missions like any Ubisoft game either, which is how these open world games ideally should be. Absolutely worth full price. Man 30 hours is terrible. I highly recommend essentially anything under the Vertigo imprint. It was part of DC- was a label that allowed writers a lot more creative liberty and less restrictions than mainstream DC and gave comics a lot of mainstream legitimacy. Particular series: Sandman- single greatest comic ever written; Hellblazer and Lucifer are spin off series worth reading as well Watchmen- 12 issues, much quicker read than sandman but just as influential Garth Ennis: Punisher MAX, Preacher, The Boys all great Brian K Vaughn- Y the Last Man and Saga are very fun and accesible reads Fables- premise is fairy tale characters are real, but driven out of their homelands and living in a secret society in New York Series. Some really great characters in it, the Wolf Among Us game is based on it and the show Once Upon a Time basically stole the premise --- Some say that his voice can only be heard by cats, and that he has two sets of knees... all we know is, he's called the Stig. |

Significantly faster response rates, no burn in risks, and much cheaper.
