If Israel didn't want to look bad they could just not bomb indiscriminately They bomb Hamas targets. Which are intentionally interwoven with civilians. A lot of people support innocent people dying as long as Hamas is obliterated. It's Hamas entire strategy. They launch rockets from populated areas and use civilians as meat shields to make Israel look bad. This is nothing new.
