My votes are:

Uncharted- great games, don't get me wrong. Fantastic storytelling and amazing set pieces. But they're too short for the $60 price tag and gameplay is too shallow for them to be 10/10 games.

Gears of War- first one was innovative but gameplay hasn't evolved and mechanics feel awful. The running is clunky as hell and the guns have stupid amounts of spread and just don't feel satisfying.

Game would've been more fun if it was paintball like the devs envisioned and not roll shotgun simulator.

Gears has the most bizarre damage variance in any video game. The Lancer takes an entire magazine to down an opponent, assuming you don't miss, while shotguns one-shot kill at point blank. That's such a huge variance.

And you can't headshot with the Lancer and I don't think it has any damage variance based on where it hits at all.

Yeah none of the guns feel right. They feel weak and rate of fire is too slow. Models are ugly too and projectile speed is too slow.

CoD is hit or miss but can be great when it's hit. Original Modern Warfare is genuinely one of the greatest FPS games ever made. MW2, WW2, and Infinite Warfare were all pretty fun. I've never liked any of the Black Ops games though. Waiting for a sale on newest game.

I love horror so I want to like it but every time I give it a shot, it's just been unintersting. Like I watched the first couple episodes of Apocalypse... cool start with the apocalypse and the agents, but then it turns into a gimp dungeon. Show is also very handicapped by being on cable tv. It's b movie writing but without b movie gore and nudity to compensate.

Playing 4 right now since I got Game Pass for Outerworlds. It plays like absolute shit. The sprinting mechanic handles like a pedo van and the gunplay is awful... everything is so inaccurate and has stupid amounts of spread. I dont get how this is a 9/10 game and why this series is so popular.

I had maybe 2 years between 2 and tps which I powered through last week in prep for bl3.

Game was baaaad. Story was pointless (honestly couldn't even tell you what happened), skills were meh, and I only got one orange weapon by the time it was over. Plus bosses weren't farmable and from what I hear they didn't deliver on dlc, though I didn't bother with it.

Bl3 is a huge improvement in every way. Only complaints so far are the kalypso twins arent menacing at all and that fucking transgender robot.

Not necessarily. Having a weapon to use as a threat does not prove he had willingness to do bodily harm.

Say the baker wanted to defend his business. Pulls out a bat, confronts the robber, and gets him in the corner. Would the robber say "aw shucks you got me" and surrender or would he fight back with the knife? The only assumption you can make is if an aggressor has a weapon he's going to use it. People end up dead who think otherwise.

There are murderers who don't get 36 years, just in our own country, set aside everywhere else.

That's fine with me. Murder is in most cases a crime of passion- the perpetrator knows the victim, has some sort of personal dispute, and commits the act in a moment of poor judgement. It's a heinous act but the perpetrators are often remorseful and have potential for rehab. Robbery on the other hand is a pure act of malice and sociopathy. People with no regard for others who they have no relationship to committing an act that puts lawful citizens in danger. I'd argue your average burgler is more dangerous than the average murderer.
