If the fight is a pure look each other in the eye and 1v1 commences type fight, its just whoever is the more skilled fighter, as the tech parity is close enough (both can use edged or primitive firearm weapons and would be similarly lightly armored) that neither will really stand out as the better option, so basically a wash.

I give the edge to ninja.

This might be a DnD 5th edition power creep issue. Its hard to balance stuff out when just about every class becomes a borderline god around level 10. So you have the issue of every encounter is either laughably easy or every encounter is so hard you have to resort to all your cheese strats.

Like, Ive seen this exact same complaint with actual games of DnD once you start hitting the levels that BG3 maxes at.

I loved that part of it. Bethesda games are absolutely known as never complete the main story until every inch of the game has been fully explored type games. So having the main quest just kind of slowly completely itself in the background while everyone spent most of their time distracted with side quests felt like the perfect vibe to me.

It upsets you because from now on, you're going to encounter people whose Fallout knowledge is limited to the TV series while knowing jack shit about the videogames, the latter of which are probably the only version that you consider to be canonical.
Even if it sticks to the canon for now (I have no idea if it does, because I have never played Fallout nor been interested in the TV series), these types of TV series inevitably deviate more and more from the source material.
So have fun dealing with that.

Its set in-universe, after the events of Fallout 4, and Todd Howard confirmed that it is 100% canon.

Edit: To expand on this just a bit, looking it up, it appears as though the "rich people" in question were John Jacob Astor IV, Benjamin Guggenheim, and Isidor Straus,and they did supposedly die on the ship. So if there was a real conspiracy to sink the ship and it was about specifically eliminating those people... they did succeed!

There's a few of them out there though. There was one where they pulled the old switcharoo with its sister ship, another where it was all about getting the insurance policy, another where they were trying to fuck with the banks or whatever.

The problem with conspiracy theories is that whoever is writing the theory just injects whatever insane belief they have into it, then work backwards to make the pieces fit.

There's a somewhat compelling piece of that conspiracy where JP Morgan (or some other uber powerful banker/business type, but I believe it was him) had a special room for the voyage, but canceled his trip at the last minute and made out like a bandit when the thing sank or something like that.

It's almost certainly just a coincidence, but it's the type of thing that conspiracy theorists go fucking ape shit over.

Not a final boss, but Malenia from Elden Ring can fuck all the way off.

And I know, there's about a million different "beat Melania EASY!" strats out there, but if you don't know what those are... buckle up buckaroo.

So it looks like the bill would introduce new hoops that people have to jump through when registering to vote, supposedly in the name of keeping noncitizens from voting but in actuality would just make it harder for eligible voters to register since noncitizens trying to vote illegally almost never happens.

So it's the "high turnout negatively affects Republicans, let's make sure turnout is low" bill.

Pretty much par for the course at this point.

people listen to albums in one go these days? i just listen to single songs from it. skipping sounds strange.

I'm about a 50-50 guy. Half the time I'll listen to an album start to finish, but the other half I just hit play on my super playlist and just let fate decide what I hear.

Really just depends on how I'm feeling on any particular day.

How does one "hack" to clear a level? And does it count towards clearing every level?

They use a program that allows them to force their hacked hardware onto the internet, then can just spawn whatever they want in the level. There's another method where they can clear any level, then impose the clear condition on any other level.

In any case, Team 0% has a process by which they determine the legitimacy of first clears, and have deemed it an illegitamte clear. For the sake of this project, it has not been cleared yet.

But nothing in between. Getting to the vertical section is proving insanely difficult.

Yup. That third stack transition to the tower is proven the hardest part for most of the people I've been watching. Beast, for example, is up to 31 third stacks, with zero transitions to the tower. In fact, he just said on stream that only one person that he's aware of has cleared past the third stack for a legitmate tower attempt.

They are getting much more consistent with the bomb drop technique at least, but still not quite good enough to pull it all together yet.

Sure, why not go for it. The states have been purplish states for a few cycles now. It might seem unlikely to actually flip a state like Texas, but if it actually happens, it's essentially a death blow to any hopes of a Republican win.

Couldn't hurt to at least try.

I disagree with this. Most of the actual, absolute hardest levels were cleared years ago, when they were first uploaded. There is a reason you don't see any Panga levels in the uncleared list, despite him consistently making some of the toughest levels in all of Mario. People actually enjoy his levels, and found great pride chewing through them and beating them. The actual hardest levels never made it anywhere close to this list.

In fact, watching various streamers the last month or so, most of the final levels were actually pretty "easy". They spent about 30-60 minutes on them before the clear. Barely had to spend any time in the editor or practicing. Because the levels left were decidedly not the hardest, they were just random level creators that put out their levels with no fanfare, that then got lost in the 100 man algorithm, or they were excessively tedious consistency levels that nobody bothered wasting their time on until now.

Even here at the end, thabeast was grinding out The Last Dance (the second to last level to be beat) for 20 something hours. The guy that beat it grinded it out for about 10 hours before he beat it. Between the two of them, they played about 30 hours. Both of them have said that they don't think that Herbs is necessary the hardest, just the most annoying, least fun to play, so they picked Last Dance to try and beat first. Because here's the rub. If you're gonna spend 20-30 hours grinding out a level, if it's at least fun, you can keep yourself motivated through the process.

Trimming the Herbs is not the hardest, it's just at the end of the list because it is excessively annoying to grind out, and most people opted for the funner levels first. That's it.

Now, it is a very, very challenging level. There's no denying that. But it's probably not the hardest all-time. It's just the more annoying, tedious level that remained.

I can't wait to play FFIX Part 17 in 30 years!

There's only one level left uncleared, it's very likely someone will beat it before the servers shut down. Pretty sure way harder levels have been beaten, this level just hasn't gotten that much attention until now.

From what I understand, the level requires several very precise, very close to frame perfect tricks. It's only about 15 seconds long, but it's an extremely brutal 15 seconds.

That said, the reason it's still left is mostly that it's annoying. Harder levels have already been cleared, and with the whole 0% crew working on it, seeing as how it's the only level left now, there's no doubt in my mind it'll be cleared. Probably within a few days.

Initially, mail-in voting was seen as a good thing for Republicans because they were the ones most likely to use it pre-Covid and the military utilizes it, which has a conservative lean.

I assume it would be worth the most to sell around when Trump dies, but it might flip the other way.

This is probably the best option if you're looking at these things in terms of long term value.

There is a very small window between now and a few months after Trump dies when the value will max out.

Then it will be all downhill from there, as the only people intrested in buying them is going to be hardcore Trump cultists. Once that influence starts to wane, so too will the value.

State lotteries are heavily regulated and whatever numbers come up in the drawing are THE numbers. These drawings are also typically televised and have dedicated law enforcement on site to monitor.

Right... so when there's this much oversight and laws and security and regulations governing the thing... and then they fuck up for three straight days without noticing, that's a fucking problem.

They have all these things in place specifically so that something like this doesn't happen. The fact that it did, to me, absolutely entitles this guy to damages.
