I just got one yesterday too. A lot of the indian recipes I've been looking at call for an instant pot, so MIL got us one. Got a few cookbooks with it. Pressure cookers kinda freak me out but I know im gonna love it once I figure it out.

Yea regular pressure cooker pots always scared the shit out of me. I would never use one, afraid they would explode or something. I trust this thing though.

It is basically a pressure cooker/slow cooker. There seem to be a lot of people online obsessed with them.

Anyways I am months past being due for a haircut and have a bad goatee right now. My Christmas break starts on Thursday and as soon as it starts I am going to the barber. I got like a $3,000 raise this year.

I took more college courses which pumped me up to a new pay level, also the jump on my salary schedule for seniority was bigger than normal this year.

I probably won't get another raise this big for awhile.

You do realize that Chicago, Baltimore, and New York Cities are cities, while Alabama is a state, right?

Pretty much all states have massive rural areas.

Pretty much all of those states aren't 48th in poverty rates.
