You could had bought 50 power ball tickets with that $100 and then could had afforded like 2 houses when you won, not investing properly there.

The house was purchased by the church for $22,000. With the renovations they did I would say it is now worth $60,000 or so.
I have more than enough to cover that.

So the house is paid off entirely? Taxes won't be an issue as long as you have a job. If you don't have a mortgage to pay, you'll be on easy street.

You'd be dumb to NOT buy a raffle for this.

Pretty sure they tax based on the value of the house. That house in particular is $22,000 roughly, and the average property tax in that area is $1,500-$2,500 with the highest tax rate being 7%.
TC would likely be paying $1,500 at most. A pretty damn good deal.
