Wasn't expecting to like them this much. I like to think that I am an audiophile and I've put too many thousands into my home theater (sig). Audio quality wise the airpods are the most fun sounding "earbuds" I've ever used. Super punchy and clean noticeable bass, but what really makes me like them is how they work. The cute little charging pod fits in any pocket and charges them five times (~5 hours of use per charge). Once they're in my ear I forget about them. The microphone is also fantastic. I used them for a few hours of Overwatch and the people on my discord said they sounded crystal clear and that they didn't pick up my mechanical keyboard like my Yeti does on open mic.

I'm having a bit of a nerd gasm over these things. Go try em if you can.

Well I'd say NBA 2k gets the most love every year. Its the game that evolves and adds more content each yearly release and actually feels different every time. Especially since they started doing the RPG story with 2k14. Started with just simple choices the first couple years (2k14 and 2k15) and now looks like the basketball version of Xenoverse 2 (Small MMO city with emotes, "mounts", clothing shops and the like). Plus they change the physics and gameplay a lot. Just comparing motion now to what it was a few years ago is night and day. Each team used to have the same motion. Then 2k added Swing, Pace and zone. Then 2k started adding one for each team. Now each team has a couple different unique ones so players move around the court differently based on the team and who is in (The cavs rotate different when Lebron is in vs when he isn't for example). Super in depth and casual players would probably never notice but its there and awesome.

2k is helped along because the development team hires within the community. Most of the lead developers were the people modding the PC game. It would be like if Bethesda hired the best PC modders. The guy who does all of the offense AI literally makes 30+ minute youtube videos on each teams motion.


FIFA is consistent I'll give it that and I do buy it every year because EA does improve on one or two things but its nowhere near what 2k gives you. I'd say their yearly releases focus on changing one or two things about the game. Nothing game changing though. At the end of the day, there are only a half dozen or so ways the 500+ teams play.

2k is putting the full NBA 2k game on the switch and its exponentially larger and more expansive than any FIFA title. Hell nba 2k18 is going to be an mmo pseudo open world game (Looks to be similar to Xenoverse). EA has no excuse.

You have to remember that pop figures are way cheaper. We are talking about 3-5x the price. They're mass produced and usually shit looking but they're cheap enough for anyone who wants to collect them.

They sell well because they're cheap AF. For $10 they aren't bad and make them easy to collect. I couldn't possibly collect everything in the lines I purchase. I would need thousands of dollars per line.

My fiancee stopped playing Overwatch and let me use her account. I got it from Bronze to mid diamond in less than a day of playing. It has nothing to do with your team. SR gains/losses are based entirely around your skill. If you do well and win you'll get more SR than the rest of your teammates. If you do well and lose you'll lose less SR than your teammates. If you truly do not belong in a rank you will win far more than you'll lose, or you really do belong there.

But you get the appeal of watching other people play other games like basketball or football? If it brings in money and a crowd and is competitive who cares if its Soccer or Overwatch? I think there are many "e sports" that are a hell of a lot more exciting to watch than Sprinting, swimming or fucking dressage.

No matter what it is you're sitting on your ass drinking a cold one and watching it whether its athletic or not.

Never had motion sickness in games till I got an Oculus Rift. Certain movement in VR games makes me sick. Movement where I expect to feel some amount of g force is what gets me. Roller Coaster sims for example fucking destroy my stomach. (But real roller coasters are fine).

I liked when Game of Thrones was unexpected and all these clever side plots were happening and the grand scheme of things were massive.

There aren't even 10 episodes left to wrap up everything that remains in the show. Someone needs to end up on the throne and the dead army needs to be vanquished with some amount of closure. In addition to that remaining side plots need to be finished (someone get Bronn a fucking castle already). Not really much time for side plots anymore.

This thought process is dangerous and ignorant. People need to stop ignoring and mocking North Koreas nuclear ability. They are very close to being a nuclear super power and the amount of progress they've made just in the past six months is staggering.

We don't want them to have the ability to threaten the mainland United states. They've gone from barely being able to launch a missile to missiles that definitely can reach the west coast (and theoretically the east coast) in a year

Lots of countries can reach us, NK wouldn't be the first. There are systems in place that make us hard to hit if a country did launch one our way.

The thing keeping the world safe is MAD. Most countries with nuclear capabilities don't want to end the world and have some form of checks and balances in place to keep one person from deciding that it's time.

North Korea on the other hand, is the only country with nuclear capability that has no checks and balances. I don't think Un is going to think twice about launching a nuke. If he feels his regime is threatened he will fire and no one will stop him.
