My fiancee stopped playing Overwatch and let me use her account. I got it from Bronze to mid diamond in less than a day of playing. It has nothing to do with your team. SR gains/losses are based entirely around your skill. If you do well and win you'll get more SR than the rest of your teammates. If you do well and lose you'll lose less SR than your teammates.
