the pokemon formula is solid, there can't be a bad mainline pokemon game as long as you don't fuck with it

people's (very legitimate) complaints revolve around the ceiling for improving pokemon pretty much not existing, you can build on the great formula with so much and it's been like 24 fucking years and other than some basic quality of life shit and graphical improvements they really haven't taken the franchise to the next level despite it being the most profitable franchise of all time that's worth $93 billion

I like Solo a lot and I dont know why either. I think my expectations were way too low and I also like that it felt kind of standalone. It was also a bit of a mess which I appreciate a lot, keeps me on my toes and makes me laugh. I also admittedly dont even like star wars much, I dont know how I've even see them all because I have like no attachment to the franchise

Rise and the first two prequels were a lot of a mess though which is why they're at the bottom

Apparently the supplemental book for the movie says that the sith cultists in his throne room at the end were building all of the ships for the past 30 years with slave labor. I thought those were supposed to be ghosts or something but apparently they were all real people.

Not a good movie, definitely not bad

The whole thing was ruined by JJ trying to cramp his episode 8 into the beginning of this movie

They should have either kept Rian Johnson on or told JJ he had to deal with Johnsons trilogy. The pacing in this movie is the worst I think I've ever seen in something so high budget. Just a ton of missteps in producing this trilogy leading to this. It's a shame because it could have been great as either JJ doing the three movies and playing it incredibly safe or going with Johnson's change of direction and doing something crazy and new.

Facebook is worse and I have one that I shitpost on maybe once a week. I mainly have it for messager. I used it actively through college and a little bit after and my digital footprint from just there is like 7 gigs or more and at this point theres no way I can take all that back and I do regret dumping all my personal shit on the internet when I really dont get anything out of it
