Undyne has a lot of songs surrounding her, her battle songs are very Touhou-esque, she has the tense music of like meeting her in full armor and being chased by her, and the heroic intro that's already fallen. As obvious, this is her weakest battle theme and to me... it's simply because the intro before this fight is just so much better than the music to this fight. It's still good, but it's shallow compared to some other songs.

can I just appreciate... that there's a damn trombone in this song? like even though i associate this song with the pub in snowdin more than i do with sans, it's just a clever song overall that helps you notice things that remind you of sans again anyway.

Oh... I forgot to mention. One thing funny about Hotel's elimination. Its track number in the OST is 54. It's the closest so far in ranking/track number. Wonder if anything will be spot on. This next one won't.

There's a lot of meaning in this simple song, it's a fairly cool melody that fits well with... well, someone else's Determination. It opens such a cool scene, and was even moved up my list a few times when I realized what it was. It's a tough song to drop, but that's basically everything currently.

A great regular battle theme, my only problem with it is... well, the song loops well, but the way it loops gives such an unsatisfactory way to end the song. I've always hated this in BGM, I'd vastly prefer to hear the song end if it's in the OST, rather than see it prepped for the loop. That's also a thing in my previous song, if a song ends without a closing, I will tend to rate it poorly.

You know, this song and the next song have one thing in common, and I kind of want to tell you why both place this low and how that happens... when the next song is posted. I will say that this song fits Papyrus's antics really well and is a goofy and likeable song. You should note that I'm truly in songs that I like, it's just minor reasons drop them below other songs that I like. But you'll hear the reason it's not as good as others in the next song.

Alright, so this is the better of the two Report songs, and as with tradition of this past group of songs, I have something problematic to say about it instead of just praising it. Death Report has the problem of being played in one situation, and it's like... I forget if I'm right about this... but I think it gets cut out whenever you're in a disarming battle with the bombs? Eh, either way... it felt pointless.

Alright, here's a song that once again takes Mettaton's scenes making a reference to FF6 music, and to be honest, I wish it wasn't a track, I wish the song overall was like a minute shorter first off, and then applied to Death by Glamour. Not to be played as part of the boss music, but as a DC al Coda sort of thing. There has been at least one soundtrack that's done that before, where basically there's a part of a song that plays at the aftermath of an event that the song is played at. It's recorded as part of the song, but the song has repeats just before that part and it will Coda skip to that external melody once you reach a specific part of the song. However, it's not like I wish it didn't exist, I like the song... it's just I wish it wasn't a separate track.

Pretty song, but I feel its literal purpose is to end the soundtrack with the name "Good Night" since the first song is "Once Upon a Time" so it gives the feeling of Toriel told you this entire story. Honestly, in a ranking project... credits music is really awkward. No matter where you rank the individual songs, you're just listening to the same ones again. The credits sequence is really awesome and probably the best I've ever seen in a video game, and the music goes well in it. I just don't care that much for it on its own, as it has an awkward melody mixed in with the songs.
