God, the start of this song is just so good. Just pieces don't appeal as much, stuff like especially at 2:00 is why it's not a top 5 song. But shit, Genocide run is hype to get to this point. It feels disappointing when you one shot everyone except Undyne by this point, and hell, you one shot Sans when it comes down to it. but like you're just playing along, you get to this fight like "okay, it'll start up soon." *dies* "OH SHIT THIS IS SOMETHING"

That said, yeah. Maybe a top 5 for others, a top 3 for many... but just parts of it make it clear that I prefer other songs.

A chime backdrop, the piano melody... but it's also the bass. Those three together make this song as fantastic as it is, and it's not like the other strings make it suddenly worse when they kick in. It's a peaceful melody at first, but that change in song actually reminds you that it's not all peaceful here. Undyne is still lurking and hunting you down, and you're still fighting monsters. Waterfall is the best setting, and this song definitely helps with that.

Such a beautiful song at the start. It has just that peaceful feel that you've done everything good that you can, and it's finally time to relax. It's also just great to listen to out of the game, and feels emotional without really striking at your heart strings.

A song that forced even Spear of Justice back, because it was such a hype set up and could have been part of the melody to the fight. The Touhou aspect behind the song has just so much value and fun to it. Like, more than the fight itself, this song sets up such a badass scene revealing what Undine is behind that helmet and preparing for her battle was the first time of serious determination in the game. And this song perfected that moment.

#11. Fallen Down (Reprise)

I enjoy Reprises when they really do something to the song. I liked Fallen Down... not the most out of anything but it was a good song. This song starts off the same way as normal Fallen Down, then 0:50 hits and it's a cool change, but the especially good part starts at about 1:20, where it returns to the the intro song to this game, Once Upon a Time. It's a nice version of that tune that actually makes this song almost top 10 worthy. But it narrowly misses, and for some definitely good songs.

This was so hard to eliminate, I started pushing it higher on my list as I was making it, and then it hit Undertale, and I sat there for a moment and pushed it here after some consideration. It's the melody that starts Undertale, but is played with chimes with a piano background. The song gets really good and emotional as steadily more instruments poke in. It's a great piece that is limited simply by having a single melody. But still an impactful piece.

One song left till top 10. What do you guys think will drop just outside of it, a massively liked tune... or a good elimination to keep those alive? What do you want eliminated, what do you think will be? Sadly only doing one tomorrow since I didn't plan this out well, but should be good.

To think, we sadly lose one of the final two Mettaton songs here, and boy I enjoy this song heavily, while it does have the boring aspect at the end of the song, it's so fast and tense, yet also hyper and enjoyable. Kind of like taking a test when you're afraid of not finishing before the time limit. You can be excited about the material, but still feel rushed and want to get it done. This song gives that feel quite well.

Piano and Strings create a melody for a barren snowland, where your inhabitants are two skeletons, a bunch of dogs, a live snowman, some monsters including a pun-centered snowflake dude... and snowpoffs. I love ice themed songs. I also like piano and strings songs. I even have tried to learn piano and violin to play some. The former I'm okay with, the latter... lol.

Yes, it's not exactly the best song to listen to outside of the game, it's not bgm I would listen to just anywhere, but remembering fight, hearing the song constantly change, you just remember everything about what's going on in this fight. And even hearing Flowey's theme constantly, and the sound system used to play his song occasionally too. It's just a cool concept. It fits the final boss fight well enough to make it this far.

I essentially agree with the fact that it does warrant existing, there are some songs that don't, but SAVE the World is not one of those.

Credits, takes the Ruins song and steadily tosses more into it. It's normal credits music, I like what it did more than Bring it in, Guys... definitely. The other one just tossed an extra melody into the mix of boss themes and this one just gives a more 'informative' feel to Ruins.

Where Dummy fails is its randomness gets weird and isn't as fun of a song to listen to outside of the battle, Ghost Fight just has that jazzy feel that tells you... Well, that I was just not up to doing any rankings yesterday. It's good jazz-like tune that made me in the mood for it, unlike the song that was eliminated a lot earlier.

Similarly to Dog Song, it's really only the same melody repeated, and liking that melody is why both of these songs lasted so long. My long debate between 21 and 20 was simply... Memory is a music box, and while I didn't care for home's music box, I love Memory's. That is all.

I also feel weird about what colors I'd draw from.

Red: Yeah, I don't have W. Tharja or Leif, but I have Legendary Ike... 2 of him... unless I get a better roll, there's not much of a reason, and I fear getting him like how I got Sigurd out of everyone from Red in last banner.

Blue: I want Valentine's Lyn, kind of... Don't really need another Morgan or Ephraim even though I could get a better roll.

Green: I'd like Hector, but not another Brave Ike (whom I've already sacrificed one to my Tiki) or a Myrrh.

Okay, I love this song. I randomly swap over to listen to versions of Undertale songs with this sound system. I even had it top 10 at a point. But I sat down and listened to other songs more and eventually realized... DEAR GOD WHY DO I HAVE THIS SONG RANKED IN THE TOP 10!? I still adore it, but it's not THAT good. It's short overall, it's the same melody over and over, but it's catchy as hell and I love it.

It also feels good to not have it in my top 20, so there's that, even though I really like the song. Still debatable which should be higher between this and #20, but whatever, the deed is done.
