Eh, it's not really similar to Spelunker much except for the fact that you are a platforming spelunker and you collect treasure.

I don't know if I should hold out for a possible PC release of this new version six months from now or just pull the trigger in a week.

The original is one of my favorite PC games of all time so I'll probably just get it now and double-dip if it comes to PC later.

Yessssssss, GRU are so fun to use now that they don't sap your life. Everything around me dies too fast to hurt me much, so the new mini-crit effect doesn't matter too much.

the life-sapping was so much better. Either a Medic healing you rendered it null, or there was enough health lying around that you could easily heal up before you got to combat.
