That would make sense. I switched to the Manga after the Gina content because I enjoyed it a lot, but that part was definitely not as good in the manga as it was in the anime.

If the budget crashes in the second cour that's a shame, but it would be extremely on brand for DavidPro after Fire Force. Hopefully they can bring it back for when the series truly takes off.

Ah, maybe have my chapter counts off a bit because I would assume Galaxy was more towards the end of the first cour.

I don't have the exact count as far as depth into the series, but everything prior to Galaxy is generally considered the weakest part of this manga for the content I've read into so far. The most common take for UU I've seen is that it starts weak and basically turns into a completely different manga from that point on.

The majority of what I assume would be the first cour of UU is pretty whatever in the grand scheme of things, I would assume around the second cour is when it gets to the first chunk of the good stuff.

However, I too don't know how that holds up in regards to the adaptation.

I'm about halfway through where the manga is at I think, 101 chapters in. Been on hold for a bit, though.

If Jingliu didn't come out before Misha he'd have made a much bigger splash. He's still better than Jingliu for PF....though full follow-up attack investment Herta is better in PF than him by just a bit probably.

Again honestly it may be gameplay! We don't know the numbers on the new set yet, but he has a high damage Ult and a follow-up attack so theoretically it will do a lot for him.

Unless there's yet more bad news about to drop shortly, I don't think there's any extremely recent scandal. If there was we'd probably have an Overwatch announcement of some kind meant to overshadow it as usual.

This is probably just their brand popularity continuing to plummet. With them cancelling Overwatch 2 PvE entirely (which is the only reason they made Overwatch 2), they may be in their lowest state to date.

Misha is better than Yanqing.

The Yanqing issue isn't that he needs his buffs to work, it's that when everything does line up for him and he has his fully protected buffs, that's what brings him up to baseline quality. He doesn't need all his buffs to be great, he needs all his buffs to be OK.

Yanqing isn't going to matter until a new set paves the way for him like it did for Himeko. That new set for Clara may actually be it.

Atari was not initially a failure. Atari was big. It wasn't just an arcade port machine, in fact trying to do that later on is part of what caused it to fall.

Second, this topic does not say positive impact. Atari collapsing the game industry had an ENORMOUS impact, and their failures paved the way for Nintendo's rise.

Ninja Storm is the virus that completely poisoned that anime game well and gave us over a decade of worthless arena fighters because of it's popularity. Nearly every anime property with fighting game potential was completely wasted on this bottom of the barrel genre.

Sega seems like far and away the third place here, not sure how anyone could hear say otherwise.

They were popular but they didn't do anything of note for the industry other than "be a rival". I guess the earliest mainstream online play? But it was a console that failed, so.....

It's pretty flat looking but we'll see what the final product is like.

As someone who has been getting shit by IRL friends for liking Mnemosyne and still standing by it....not a Roba show lol. Hand to God I was on a Discord convo with an extremely like minded friend last night and he asked me if there was anything I genuinely liked that I knew he would absolutely hate, and Mnemosyne is the first thing that came to mind.

2014 was indeed an interesting year. Funnily enough, it was that list of anticipated shows that really gave off the impression of mediocrity. So many series that year started off with potential and just fizzled away. The difference, though, is that I actually finished most of those at the time, when nowadays I likely would have dropped them.
