Hypno's right you do just love to see yourself argue & then make up crap no one has said

You haven't answered the question at all. You've just run away from it while insulting me and ignoring anything I said. Everyone so far who is defending millionaires as passionately as you are has done the same thing.

Very very very very very simple yes or no question:

"If you had jumped on stage at the Oscars and assaulted the host, would you be in prison right now?

Yes or no?"

You don't need any response whatsoever more than 1 word in your next post

Why can't you give a yes or no answer?

You're so scared. It's hilarious. You don't need to simp for millionaires. It's so strange.

Will Smith doesn't care if you live or die. He's a multi-millionaire. You don't need to bootlick that millionaires are above the law.

So you admit that if you did it, you would be in prison?

Yes or no.

Why are you and every single user who is deadset on passionate defense of millionaires unable to answer a simple yes or no question?

Because we both know the answer is yes. You would be. Will Smith solely isn't because he is a millionaire and rich people are above the law. Something you are defending wildly and it's weird.

Jesus christ a joking insult is not grounds to assault somebody. Im sure your significant other will be thrilled when you enter caveman mode and start attacking people every time someone says something mean.

Is physical assault the only way you know how to react to an insult?
It's even worse than that. It's not even like a random guy in the street just starts insulting you

The comedian at show made a joke about someone else and you leaped on stage assaulted them and screamed profanities. Something any non millionaire would be arrested for.

And so all we get is "But what about...."

Especially considering Will Smith wasn't arrested for the slap.
Also just ignoring the context of jumping on a stage and slapping someone because of what they just said hosting a show, in this case the Oscars. And then being like "Imagine if everyone was arrested for slapping!"

It's like if a drunk guy trespassed in the White House and put his feet up on the oval office, faced no punishment because he was a millionaire and you defended it by going "Imagine if everyone got arrested for walking into a room"

It's so crazy disengenious. Bootlicking simps pretending they wouldn't be in prison right now if they were the ones that did it.

There's something odd about the lust and desire to beat up (And often kill) shoplifters that some people have

Don't get me wrong, shoplifters are scum and really hurt small businsesses.

It's just you hear these guys, especially those that advocate shooting these punks (who usually are like 19 years old) for stealing a bottle of Jack Daniels.

It's almost like they just really really really really want to beat up or kill someone and this is an excuse.

Like how the Cart Narc just really wants to annoy and harras people so he has to invent reasons to justify

Comparing two examples & the level of publicity & outrage they get isn't whataboutism,

Yes it is.

you guys should stop overusing logical fallacies when the existence of a logical fallacy does not mean the argument or statement made is inherently incorrect even if it was a whataboutism.

"Other people did bad things so this is ok" is an inherently incorrect argument. Hence why you're doing whataboutism in the first place because there is no argument to actually defend the actions.

It's about measuring why a guy slapping another guy at the Oscars has had longer lasting notoriety & discussion in media & online compared to other events when the level of severity is far less. I'm curious about it for the sake of it being interesting, not about defending a grown man idc about when I despise millionaires & the wealthy/elite more than most lol

You are literally defending millionaires assaulting people right now.

And you're a hypocite. If you're bothered by "Other Events" go be a mouthpiece and talk about other events. You're literally only bringing them up to whataboutism a defense of Smith.

Hell the very first post you made was someone going "You'd think he killed someone!" to someone saying "You don't get arrested for slaps"

If you ran on stage and assaulted someone at the Oscars, you would be in prison right now.

Smith isn't and had a legion of defenders purely because he is a millionaire. That's fucked.

Hence why you have to downplay and whataboutism

It's something about the staying power of a grown man slapping another man that's interesting & gets people more up in arms. Compared to; remembering what Tom Cruise, Mark Wahlberg, Mel Gibson, Jared Leto, & many others have done that doesn't have anywhere near the same cultural impact, while being objectively worse & still existing in the industry.

It's just the same way that Weinstein was defended for years until it broke the camel's back & it was untenable to maintain that position anymore.

@shockthemonkey Yes this is true too lol
Whataboutism

If you wanna be mad at someone else about someone else go ahead but don't justify assaulting people on stage at the Oscars (or any show) because they made a joke and you're a thin skinned little bitch.

If it was any non millionaire, just any random Joe Q public (including you) you would be in prison right now. It's absolute privilege that it doesn't apply to "the elite"

You're the same as people who defend Donald Trump by going "YEah well whatabout these guys who did unrelated bad things!?"

It's so fucking dumb. Stop simping for millioniares. Just stop.

Resident Evil 5 is actually the Resident Evil most in need of a remake. A whole new environmental structure and scenario design that reigns in the action and dials up the horror would bring it in line with capcom's of remakes but all of this doesn't account for Resident Evil 5's most notorious problem: Racism.

All in set in a fictional West African country Resident Evil 5's primary antagonists are black people. Yes it's technically the Oroborus virus that protagonist Chris Redfield is fighting but the parasite's host is depicted as a nation of mobs and Primitives who are violent even before their infection. Intentionally or not Resident Evil 5 positioned Africa as the Dark Continent an uncivilized World harboring a diseased population that needs gunning down via Western intervention in the name of Global Security.

This insensitive treatment of people of color was hotly debated even as early as Resident Evil 5's debut trailer with writers such as eni croll and Steven totillo pointing out the game's uncomfortable postcolonial imagery the arguments and think pieces continued well into the game's release window with IGN's own former editor-in Chief Hillary Goldstein having also wrestled with the subject but that was 2009 a time when race was apparently a debate rather than a reality.

In the 2020s in a post black lives matter World there is only one acceptable response to a white man shooting waves of Africans for an entire video game: "No."

There is one thing I do. I have a job to do and I'm going to see it through remakes may be able to redefine their Source material but there's only so many changes you can make until it's not a remake at all but an entirely new game and if you take Africa out of Resident Evil 5 is it Resident Evil 5 anymore even with a vastly improved more sensitive take on the continent, perhaps one with a black protagonist and a more empathetic look at the outbreak The Experience would simply be too divorced from the original to hold the name Resident Evil 5.

So where does Capcom go now? Personally I'd look backwards code Veronica is an ideal candidate as is the original Resident Evil but if the only way is chronologically forward then a total rewrite of what comes next is the logical path because what followed Resident Evil 4 was not one terrible game but two.

Resident Evil 6 double down no triple down on the action-packed setpiece heavy shooter design to the extent that much of it could be mistaken for a third person Call of Duty spin-off were it not for the monsters its restrictive level design practically puts you in a choke hold forcing you to endure a barrage of bombastic moments that have no interest in evoking any sense of fear Resident Evil 6 is a survival horror only in that it's a horrible game that you have to survivelaying but this time around it doesn't have to be like that.

Capcom now has the opportunity to ignore the past and completely reinvent this chunk of the timeline. In Resident Evil 4 remakes post-credit scene evil mastermind Albert Wesker details his plans for world domination to ad Wong reflected in his glasses is an image of excel gon and the stairway of the sun two significant plot.

Elements from Resident Evil 5 which indicates capcom's intentions butthere's more to consider this scene is largely a replication of the sequence from assignment ADA a non-canon chapter from the original Resident Evil 4 it shift from unofficial to Cannon points to a willingness to change furthermore the end of this scene is completely

Rewritten when learning of wesker's plans rather than dutifully deliver the stolen last plaga sample to to him Ada betrays her shadowy boss and forces her helicopter to turn around. In this moment unclear Capcom has given itself the freedom to do whatever it wants I just hope it's not a remake of Resident Evil 5

A burglar who cut a hole in the floor of a military museum to steal a priceless haul of silver has been jailed for two-and-a-half years.

Police believe items taken by Graham Gallon from the Royal Lancers & Nottinghamshire Yeomanry Museum, including a rosewater dish described as a sister piece to the Wimbledon womens singles trophy, may have since been melted down.

A military polo trophy, statuettes of mounted soldiers and a cavalry trumpet were also stolen in October last year, after the hole was cut to gain direct access to a display case.

Gallon, 36, of Carrington Terrace, Rotherham, was arrested after his DNA was found on the base of a silver cup which he was not able to squeeze through the gap in the floor, Nottinghamshire Police said.

Shortly after the offence, curators at the museum located in Thoresby Park, near Worksop, said it was disgusting that historic items had been taken from people who had served and fought for their country.

The theft took place in the early hours and was discovered the following morning by a volunteer, who found a decorative Halloween skeleton under the hole.

Gallon was jailed at Nottingham Crown Court earlier this week after pleading guilty to burglary. A 24-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man have also been arrested and remain under investigation.

Detective Constable India Woodrow, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: The people who did this may have got away with silver, but as we said at the time they have not got away with the crime.

Gallon came to our attention very soon in our investigation and I am pleased that we were able to conclusively link him to this offence.

We do not believe that he acted alone, and our investigation is continuing at pace.

We are acutely aware, however, that no amount of convictions or jail sentences can bring back these priceless items, which we know meant a huge amount to veterans and museum staff.

I think you might be right. Dont several generations of a family live together in Japanese culture?
I can believe it. Japan has the oldest population in the world and a low birthrate

I was thinking he would be like 20.

45, unemployed, unhinged, and living with your mother is wild as fuck.
His 42 year old brother lives there too.

I think the "Abandon your parents and never look back!" thing is very American/Western.

I like how the article has to mention his employment status like being unemployed makes him even more of a monster. Japan work-slave culture.
It's true and as an outsider it is weird.

You'll see articles all the time where it's like "A postman from Osaka said." "French language teacher crashes car into wall"

And it's like "Why ya gotta bring that up?"

A Florida man had his hand bitten off by a massive alligator while he was fishing in a golf course pond.

The unidentified man was attacked by the monstrous gator on Sunday afternoon at a pond in Pennbrooke Fairways, a golf course and residential community in the Leesburg, about an hour outside of Orlando.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission estimated that the gator was approximately nine-feet long. Ron Priest, a resident in the area, told FOX 35 that the bizarre incident took place in his backyard as his wife frantically called 911.

'While the guy was on the ground, the gator got the guy in the hand, and the two rolled,' Priest said.

He reportedly saw the fisherman reeling in a fish just before the gator pounced on him and snatched his hand off. Priest's wife was one of two worried neighbors who called the police to report the brutal attack.

Lake County Fire Rescue released those calls as Priest's wife is heard saying: 'There is a gator attacking a man in my backyard!'

'Yes, ma'am,' the dispatcher responds.

She says: 'Some people now have stopped in their gold carts!'

In the second call, a dispatcher answers the call and says: 'Is this regarding the gator attack?'

The worried caller then says: 'Hand is gone!'

Priest said that he thinks the gator was after the large fish that the man captured, but doesn't know if he was 'trying to unhook' it in the chaotic moment. He saw the gator attack the man and scurry back into the water just before emergency personnel arrived at the scene.

The victim was airlifted to a hospital in downtown Orlando and his condition is unclear.

Priest said that officials told him that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission 'can't dispose of a human part.'

He said that the man's hand was sent to a medical facility in Orlando in case it can be re-attached to his body.

The reptile was shot after officials deemed it to be a 'nuisance gator'- an alligator that measures longer than four-feet or 'poses a threat to people, pets or property,' according to the agency's website.

Police in Kyoto have arrested a 45-year-old unemployed man on suspicion of arson after he set fire to his house following an argument with his 67-year-old mother over breakfast.

According to police, Satoshi Yoshizaki set fire to the house at around 8:45 a.m. on March 8, Kyodo News reported. Approximately 80 square meters of the three-story wooden house were completely destroyed. Yoshizaki was taken to hospital, suffering from smoke inhalation. His mother fled from the house and was not injured.

Yoshizaki was arrested on Monday. He was quoted by police as saying he got into an argument with his mother about the food they were eating for breakfast. He then went into his room and set fire to boxes of tissues.

Yoshizaki lived in the house with his mother and younger brother, 42, who had left for work at the time of the fire.

My personal rule is if someone else made or paid for the food and gave it to you, you don't get to complain about it. Either eat it or don't be thankful for the effort.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

"It will will revert you physically to exactly how you were the day after your 18th birthday forever."

"Yeah but what if it wasn't forever?"

"Then that wouldn't be this scenario"

"What a stupid constraint!"

God imagine giving you the trolley problem

"Why can't I just divert the trolley onto an empty track!?"

"Because there isn't one"

"That seems like a stupid constraint!"
