Comparing two examples & the level of publicity & outrage they get isn't whataboutism,

Yes it is.

you guys should stop overusing logical fallacies when the existence of a logical fallacy does not mean the argument or statement made is inherently incorrect even if it was a whataboutism.

"Other people did bad things so this is ok" is an inherently incorrect argument. Hence why you're doing whataboutism in the first place because there is no argument to actually defend the actions.

It's about measuring why a guy slapping another guy at the Oscars has had longer lasting notoriety & discussion in media & online compared to other events when the level of severity is far less. I'm curious about it for the sake of it being interesting, not about defending a grown man idc about when I despise millionaires & the wealthy/elite more than most lol

You are literally defending millionaires assaulting people right now.

And you're a hypocite. If you're bothered by "Other Events" go be a mouthpiece and talk about other events. You're literally only bringing them up to whataboutism a defense of Smith.

Hell the very first post you made was someone going "You'd think he killed someone!" to someone saying "You don't get arrested for slaps"

If you ran on stage and assaulted someone at the Oscars, you would be in prison right now.

Smith isn't and had a legion of defenders purely because he is a millionaire. That's fucked.

Hence why you have to downplay and whataboutism
