Queen Camilla has been immortalised in plastic with her own Barbie doll, as she joked the toy made her look 50 years younger. The doll was dressed in a scaled-down version of the same outfit the Queen was wearing during an event at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday: a blue Fiona Clare frock with an Amanda Wakeley black cape and Eliot Zed black boots. Her hair was also closely replicated on the Barbie as was the jewellery which included gold earrings, a blue and gold bracelet and a broach on her cape. "You've taken about 50 years off my life - we should all have a Barbie," Camilla said as she was presented with the miniature version of herself. The one-off doll was created in recognition of her work supporting the Women Of The World (WOW) Foundation, a charity that looks at obstacles facing women across the globe. The 76-year-old royal was handed the doll while on board the charity's WOW girls festival bus which made its final stop on a tour of the country at the palace where the Queen toured it with Mathilde, Queen of Belgium, and the Duchess of Gloucester. As president of the foundation, Camilla gave a speech at the event, recounting the story of two suffragettes who broke palace windows with stones in May 1914. The stones were then kept on the orders of Queen Mary, the wife of King George V - King Charles' great-grandfather. "In 1914, I believe, they represented hope to the women who threw them, hope that, in the future, they would not be victims of their history, nor of the social and economic forces that were ranged against gender equality," the Queen said after holding up the stones. Advertisement "Above all, they represented the hope that it was possible, as Christabel Pankhurst (daughter of Emmeline Pankhurst) said, 'to make this world a better place for women'." The RSPCA is appealing for information after 27 snakes and four chickens were discovered dumped at the side of a road in boxes, bin bags and pillowcases. The snakes, which ranged in length from 1ft (1m) to 17ft (5.2m) equivalent to the height of a fully grown giraffe were found in Waterston, Pembrokeshire, in south-west Wales. RSPCA inspector Keith Hogben said it was one of the worst cases he has had to deal with in 25 years. He said: The snakes ranged from 1ft to 17ft in length and were all in various forms of decomposition. I believe all the snakes are of a constrictor type. There were also four dead white chickens found alongside the snakes that I believe were most likely food for the larger snakes. I think I can honestly say this is one of the worst things Ive dealt with in 25 years. It is very sad to think that these poor snakes could have been suffering for some time. This must have been awful for the person who found them. Mr Hogben said he is now looking to arrange post-mortem examinations on some of the snakes, to help determine what might have caused their deaths. A 21-year-old university student has been sentenced to 18 months in prison, suspended for three years, for stealing six mikan (mandarins) from a home partially damaged by the Jan 1 earthquake in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture. The Kanazawa District Court on Wednesday handed down the sentence against Fumiaki Matsuoka, from Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, Kyodo News reported. He was convicted of breaking into the house and stealing a box containing six high-quality mikan (mandarins) worth 3,000 yen from the kitchen, at around 8:40 a.m. on Jan 5. The house belongs to a man in his 70s who had been evacuated after the quake. However, Matsuoka was detained by a neighbor who was suspicious at seeing a stranger come out of the house.
