I listen to a progress radio channel that takes calls from anybody/everybody and treats Republican callers with respect until they just go on MAGA nonsense rants & lies (though sometimes they also give them room to hang themselves and counter), but even from sane Republicans calling in I think I could count the amount who have said they are voting Biden as a rejection of Trump on one hand. Mostly they say they're just not going to vote.

The majority of Republicans who are voting Biden that I know of are and always have been never trumpers. There's maybe a tiny amount of 2020 supporters who suddenly changed their minds because of Jan 6 but they don't go around broadcasting that.

This is just going to make me avoid Crunchyroll/Netflix/etc. and stick to fansubs even more because if ever I watch an official translation I'm always going to be thinking "is this what the characters are really saying?"

Fan sub groups will generally stop once an official localization is announced so you're going to watch predominantly niche, incomplete series.

Er...no. Punch-Out!! Wii was developed by Next Level Games, a Canadian studio.

That said, they stereotyped everyone equally, including their own representative, Bear Hugger. They also went out of their way to get native speakers for all the characters. It was all in good fun.

It depends on how things develop. From 5 years ago to now, MTL is way, way better, even if far from perfect. With how much generative AI has improved in just a couple years, it's not unreasonable to think that other areas in AI will start making leaps and bounds from here. Right now, relying too much on AI would be silly, but hypothetical AI in two years could very well be amazing.

Generative AI has hit a plateau. It could be amazing eventually but it's going to take way more than 2 years.

Xenogears, Xenosaga series, and Xenoblade series are each their own universe that have recurring themes, and are tangibly connected due to a recurring artifact called a conduit. This basically means stuff like multiverse theory, alternative dimensions etc. That's my understanding anyway.

This was retconned iirc. The original xenosaga was intended to be a 6 game thing that leads up to the start of xenogears but it was cancelled halfway through so they changed the story. It might be better to think of it like Final Fantasy where there's some shared cosmology but they're all fundamentally different games with no crossover... Dissidia notwithstanding.
