Finally had a (court ordered) sleep study and my readings were off the charts.
Severe sleep apnea = stop breathing for 10+ seconds at least 30 times an hour. My reading = 59.2 My average reading after going on the machine = 0.8 Now I just get into bed, dont take too long to go to sleep, and sleep all the way through for 5-7 hours with zero snoring. Previously my snoring apparently hovered around 90dB, which is around the level of heavy traffic or a hand drill. --- "How is that a religious topic? Glad to hear youre doing well, TC. Id still be using mine, but after that mass recall they did of that particular model a while back, I simply got used to sleeping without it again and couldnt stand the mask over my face when they finally got around to sending me a replacement.

Hopefully I'll be able to get a sleep study someday because I know I need it.

I tried a cpap machine a while back. Sadly I couldn't fall asleep with it at all. It was so bad that I was actually able to fall asleep extremely fast after taking it off, something that has never happened otherwise.

What mask do you use? I tried like 6 masks before settling with the P10 since its the least intrusive.

I liked the F&P Eson 2 the most when I was experimenting with PAP treatment. I've had success with surgical maxillary expansion, but I'll go back on treatment in a heartbeat if my sleep quality backslides.
