I don't remember much of the show, I just remember hating it. Wasn't it just one of those crappy shows adult swim was putting on that was weird for the sake of being weird?
Um, no......

It's a satire of Christian fundamentalism and American WASP culture that slowly becomes more of a psychological drama.

It's nice seeing Moral Orel getting a bit more attention lately. It's a great series.

Fatal Frame IV finally getting a US release, that's pretty nice.

Also, Ib coming to switch. That's kinda random but okay.

Bit of a stretch. It did feel a bit disjointed tbh but wasnt game breaking
Perhaps. My problem with the twist is I just don't understand what the game is trying to say with it. They could have explored the idea of an android raising a human child. But instead, we get "Can androids love and care for each other?" which is a lot less interesting since the game already established that before the twist. It just seems pointless and it kinda made Kara's whole stoyline feel pointless.

I still enjoyed Detroit though. It's got issues but it's still by far the most competent Quantic Dream game.

I don't believe anything was ever said about the androids costing anything. For all we know, they could've been given out as some kind of a welfare program.
Kara is supposed to be one of the more affordable models. She cost about $900. Not cheap but not prohibitively expensive either, and I'm sure they would have payment plans for these things.

The twist with Alice is still insanely stupid though...

I really enjoy Quantic Dream games, not because they're good, rather they're usually really fucking stupid. But it's a fun kind of stupid, usually.

They kinda got the same appeal as a Neil Breen movie to me.

Kero Blaster. The plot has some pretty significant changes on hard mode.

Although you do have to unlock hard mode by beating the game once so don't know if that counts.

Phantom Hourglass was pretty meh. Not terrible but also definitely the weakest mainline Zelda that I played.

Didn't even play Spirit Tracks.

I've never been to a Chuck E. Cheese's either.

Growing up, the themed pizza joint/arcade I had was a place called Space Aliens. The whole place looked like the interior of a space ship. No creepy animatronics, though there were people in big alien gray costumes roaming around...

It was pretty much an irl Pizza Planet. It was awesome.

I kinda like the "fake" banana flavor tbh.
The cultivar that flavor is based on is called the Big Mike and you can special order them. I might just do that someday....

I have a lot of nostalgia for Sonic Mega Collection, and Gems Collection. Sonic Jams was pretty cool too. These compilations had super memorable presentation and were just packed with a ton of cool extra shit.

That seems to be what they're trying to do with Origins, so I'm down for that.

Very likely.... but not for awhile.

I'd be more excited if it was cheaper, and if we didn't already have stuff like Sonic 3 AIR.

Remember how we use to collect all those ps1 demo discs with free content and demos? I miss that shit. Game Informer, etc.

Those were the days.
I still have a pretty decent collection of demo discs.

The best ones were the Playstation Underground discs. Not only did they have demos but also trailers, "behind the scenes" videos, interviews, cheat codes, and save data, all with really nice packaging. Just really neat little time capsules.

I'll just keep it to a handfull of recs. The PS1 is probably my favorite console.

Brave Fencer Musashi
Action adventure RPG thing from Sqauresoft. It's just a really fun, quirky, light-hearted game with real saturday morning cartoon/anime vibes.

Bushido Blade 1 and 2
Really cool and unique samurai fighting games with slower, more tactical combat, and with an emphasis on stances.

Omega Boost
Really technically impressive Star Fox style shooter with mechs, made by the developers of Gran Turismo. It's a real bummer they didn't branch out from GT more...

Thrasher: Skate & Destroy
A more technical sim-like skateboarding game compared to stuff like Tony Hawk. It also features an exclusively hip-hop soundtrack. Pretty niche for the time, and it still has a really unique feel to it.

A Dell KB522. Nothing special but it works well enough... I'd like to get something different though.

I also am old school IBM Model M as a backup. These things are pretty neat and are pretty sought after, but it's also a little too bulking for my desk. I'd also just prefer something a bit more modern as my daily driver.

I played a bit more of the South Park Mario Kart clone, South Park Rally. It was also prett bad, but I at least had more fun with it.

With the unofficial PC ports of Taxman's Sonic 1 and 2 along with Sonic 3 AIR, you don't really need Origins to play nice modern versions of these games.

And yet, I'm still probably gonna buy this.... Although that price is kinda steep.

The Saturn was pretty awesome in retrospect. But I can see not appreciating it so much if I was a young kid in the 90s with little to no disposable income or knowledge of the system.

The only system that I think may have been close to a disappoint to me was the PS3. The PS1 and PS2 are my favorite consoles, and then the PS3 was just okay.... I still played plenty of games on it and I certainly don't regret buying one, but it just didn't have the same impact on me as it's predecessors. I also was a huge fan of the DS3. I honestly liked the DS4 more.
