Not interested until I can put my own games on there.

I would say in addition it needs a way to support dual-anlaog controllers like a PS1 DualShock or a PS2 controller (via USB adapter).

So this one isn't as simple as just hacking the console, it needs a new controller driver on top of that.

You realize a lot of games on PS1 don't even support the analog sticks right? I mean it's probably like 5% of all PS1 games at most mostly the very late titles.

Uh no, the vast majority of PS1 games released from 1998 onward supported the Dualshock. There were maybe a few games that actually required one though, Ape Escape is the only one I can think of.

Dinosaur Jr.
The Promise Ring
Death Grips

Oh man when did you see dino j and the promise ring?

I saw the promise ring back in 2015. Just barely a month before the show I didn't even know they were together again and touring. It was a pretty low key show at a smallish venue, which I liked. Hearing red and blue jeans live was just awesome.

I've seen Dino jr. twice actually; in 2016 and in 2017. They had another show this year as well but I didn't go to that one. They like to play in Minneapolis I guess.

Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories. I sank hundreds of hours into it, but that game is bullshit in every conceivable way. The computer will draw their most powerful cards in the first five turns, good cards have a phenomenally low drop rate, and many of the best cards literally cost one million star chips - and you win a maximum of five chips per duel.

Yeah. I have a lot of nostalgia for FM... but fuck that game.

It had some really cool music though.

The game is running in CryEngine 3, which the Wii U doesn't natively support. For a good portion of the game's development, the devs were making the game with the PS4/XONE in mind. That was until sega struck an exclusivity deal with nintendo for it.

The devs just didn't have enough time to move it to a new engine or fully optimize it. That's why it's so buggy.

I've opened up dozens and dozens of consoles to clean and repair.

I used to buy junky old consoles and laptops sold "as is" in thrift stores or whatever and fix them up and resell them.

I played a ton of PSO Blue Burst on private servers.

It's been about a year since I last logged into any of them though.
