Also, mods cant find everything on their own. And theyre probably tired of watching Duckys news articles that pop up on both boards. So, the only way he would get caught is if someone reported him. Yeah, hopefully they can. If not though, I went ahead and contacted Vizio through email first with the issue. So basically what do you think they will do? Send a replacement part or something? I just hope I dont have to send the tv itself through the mail as that is a huge pain in the ass, lol.

They'll probably replace the whole thing or have you send it in. I doubt they would have you try fix it yourself.

I just filled out a form a moment ago. The expectations I read in it are that they will send out a service agent to swap out the old tv for a new one. And whats more that black spot turned into a black line, lol.

Is it some pixels that are not responding (i.e., completely black), or is it an area that seems darker than the rest of the image (like a shadow)?

If it's the latter than you've probably got a bad backlight. Should be repairable under warranty.

Other people and myself have literally told you that you can't fix dead pixels. Are you really this dense? How many times do we need to repeat it? Dead is dead. You can't fix dead. (Not in real life at least. You can fix dead in movies, TV, video games, and comic books, but you can'f fix dead in real life.)

I really don't know why you don't just get it replaced if it is only 4 months old. Even if you don't get the extended warranty, most standard warranties are good for at least 6 months to a year. You should still be covered by the standard warranty. I once had a TV that was struck by lightning about 2 or 3 months after I bought it. I had no problem getting it replaced.

Its not a dead pixel though.

So I got a new 4k tv back in August and well, just last night I unfortunately just out of nowhere saw a bit a dark spot on the tv. You can see it almost easily on a white background and all so, yeah... : /

Sure. I've lived with clinical depression for about 25-26 years. My mother tells others that she hasn't seen me happy since I was still a pre-teen. Something like suicidal thoughts or attempts didn't happen with me until I was in my early 20s. This tends to happen when you've never had any friends and never felt like you belonged in any school or group. That tends to happen when you didn't have a father growing up, which was the case with me. This is further worsened when you take into consideration that I also grew up with an older sister who physically and mentally abused me.

To reach a point in which you consider suicide usually comes after years and years of hopelessness. Sure, there are some statistical outliers where you see some teen jump off a bridge because he was bullied, but more often than not, depression is a slow-acting but very fatal poison that destroys you from the inside over the course of years. You see life as a zero-sum game, because zero good things have happened to you. I have also been afflicted with four years of insomnia. The eye bags convey this well.

So...how's it like in a mental ward?

Cause here in the US theyd save your life but then youd get a bill for at least $100k if you arent insured(and likely 20-30k even with insurance)

I'm 28 and still do and I'm not ashamed of it either because making 10.68 an hour does not afford a decent apartment or the bills. So thankfully, I live in a house that is all paid off, and drive an extra car that is also paid off. Things could be worse, but hey... at least its really not all that bad.. yeah, I work a dead end factory job but hopefully by next year I can start to finally look into some office work in the data entry field that can offer a bit more then what I make now.
