It depends really...although as much as I love resisting things from my past its a lot like seeing an old friend. But at the same time, you just gotta move on man. Experience new things! I try to enjoy something new everyday like a film I haven't seen before, or game, etc.

DC movies are by in general, hit and miss for me and I do generally enjoy them. But Justice League was definitely something
that sort of alluded me at the time. And then when the Synder cut came out just last year, I definitely wanna check it out!
Im gonna have to watch this thing in in short spurts though because damn... 4 hours long. Was it really a huge improvement
compared to what we got before?

I think I already achieved it to be honest with you. And I did that with doing some Bob Ross inspired paintings. For years I used to always watch this guy paint or just put me to sleep at night, lol. And for years I always told myself I couldn't do it. But after hearing Bob say otherwise many times: "You can do it. I know you can." One day I picked up a paint brush and supplies and got to painting about a year ago and I have now painted dozens of paintings and I remember everyone I ever did. I only paint occasionally though as a means of therapy when I need it. But when I do, it feel like I accomplished something very important in my life for once.

Based on stuff the Wachowskis have said in interviews, it mainly feels like this movie exists solely because Lana Wachowski needed therapy after their parents died, so this was essentially her working through her problems.

I mean, when you say things like "I can't have my parents back but I can have Neo and Trinity back", it kind of spells out your motivations. Especially after you've spent 20 years deliberately refusing to make a new Matrix sequel and saying you're never going to because the story is over and there's nothing left to tell.

Ah, I see... I never knew this and that makes much more sense now. And its like, now that I get it but... thats not what the average movie goer is going to have on their mind anyways or even know about in terms of this persons personal life and all that jazz. But Iam glad to see her working that out through making this movie as a means of therapy which is fine. But its definitely going to be a film thats going to be very decisive needless to say.

Yeaah...I just got back from seeing it and...I felt nothing. This movie makes the second and third films look like a masterpiece. At least thoes films had a beginning and an end despite all the flaws I can put up with. This one? I have no idea why...way too much meta going on for the sake of being meta and self awareness? Reminding me of the first matrix film almost constantly? That being the better film obviously. I really dont know what the hell they were trying to do with this one. Think of Terminator Genisys. And that's what this film is. Yeah, they went that route.

No. Not at all. I am unable to function in society due to the fact I am mentally disabled. So therefore I cannot contribute anything to society as a functioning member of society.

Well, it's their choice after all if they don't want to get poked. But in doing so brings problems for those around you, other people's health, etc. The list is endless.

Who said it was the sole problem? It definitely picked up a lot since columbine so it's clear it had a big impact on the frequency, unless you think it's just a coincidence. Bad parenting is also a huge problem because no one wants to discipline their kids anymore. Also our cultures dismissal of mental health (though that has been it's own problem since ever).

There is a lot that goes into this but I'm not sure why you would think the stardom that the columbine killers got and the fact that school shootings have gone up a lot since doesn't have a huge impact on it.

Please do share the problem with our mental health here. I just want to see your take on it because I've had...so so experiences with it that can make anyone go "Wtf" in a heartbeat. For example...when I was once suicidal, I obviously had to be taken to the hospital. They gave me an evaluation that same day, and sent me home with resources to some place else...yeah. And what really rubs that extra salt in the wound is not having any way to pay for it at all. Having mental illness means not being able to have my job. Having no job means no health insurance. And also with no income, etc. Needless to say...that hospital visit didn't do anything for me...and I'm still and will always be baffled by that experience.

Its no labour shortage TC. Its a wage shortage. Not only that. But I dont blame these people who left all these shitty jobs for shitty pay, and just no benefits at all... you cant call that a life. You also cant call it a life when you get that one place that requires you to work nearly 60 hours a week. On holidays, etc. Theres a lot of stuff wrong there when you have no amount of time to live, but spend all that time working...
