I have an old hard drive pulled from its PC when we threw it out years ago that has Windows ME installed on it, but the HDD is probably no good anymore (I connected it to a PC via a hard drive USB connector, and many of the picture and text files were corrupted).

I loved BotW and still have several places that I haven't explored (plus finishing the DLC), but I agree with Godnorgosh that the sequel should have a more linear, story-focused direction. One, so that it doesn't completely invalidate BotW, and two, because it'd be a chore essentially playing the same big-ass game again.

Despite being a sequel, Majora's Mask was radically different from Ocarina of Time, and the two coexisted on the N64 as their own unique experiences. BotW and BotW2 should have that same connection.

I have no idea how or why I got this game all I know is I had it somehow and loved the hell out of it! You're right about the no save feature though, I don't think I ever managed to beat this as a kid. I have a vague memory of playing it 'recently' (as in sometime within the last 10 years lol) on an emulator and managed to make it to the final boss but I can't remember if I beat it.

Great memories of it though, and the boss theme slaps!

Yep, my mom got it for us, since they basically had control over the games we got (which is why we missed out on many of the SNES classics such as Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, Mega Man, and Final Fantasy), so aside from Mario and Donkey Kong, we mostly got a bunch of licensed games and other random games. Plok was one of the games we got for one Christmas, and it's definitely a cut above those other random games we got.

I never beat it, either. I got as far as the Flea Pit levels. Each of those levels having a vehicle gimmick never before seen in the game or after it wore out very fast.

Not that it's a bad game at all (aside from the fact that there's no save feature at all and it's about half as long as Super Mario World), but it's a mascot platformer released on the SNES during the mascot craze of the early 16-bit era, never got any sequel, and never got ported to any other platform down the line. If it weren't for emulation, it would very much be less remembered than it already is.

But its soundtrack is just banging. I know I'm probably preaching to the choir at this point, but still.
