I'm not sure if this is what you're getting at, but this actually did happen. There was an episode that lampooned Tyler Perry (the character himself wasn't Tyler Perry, but it was very obvious who he was making fun of), and he threw a fit at Viacom big enough to get the episode banned (or else Tyler Perry would pull all of his shows from Viacom's networks).

I never watched Arthur. I was a nick and CN kinda kid. Did I miss out?

The earlier episodes were pretty great, and enjoyable for both kids and adults (there were even parodies of South Park and Beavis and Butthead). I can't really speak as much on the newer ones other than the stiff flash animation and--according to my sister--a drop in writing quality (though it could also be that we're just older and/or the current writers may be shifting more towards writing for kids).

It was alright, I mainly watched it out of morbid curiosity after reading about it elsewhere. Some of it did seem out-of-character for Arthur, even considering that he had his moments in the earlier episodes. Though it's also from the Flash era (well after the point where I stopped watching the show), so the stiff animation didn't really do it much favor.

• Sue Ellen receives a gift from her pen pal: a coat made of yak wool and wears it to school. Arthur thinks it makes her look like a sheep dog, and makes a constant volley of jokes about it; at first, Sue Ellen rolls with it, but she and everyone else starts getting annoyed by it after a while.
• Arthur draws a picture of a sheep dog with her head on its body and sticks it to her locker, which angers her. He's reprimanded by Mr. Ratburn for his bullying, and is told that he has to write a letter to Sue Ellen apologizing to her.
• However, the letter Arthur writes is extremely passive-aggressive, and gaslights her for not being able to take a joke. Because of this, Buster, Francine, and Muffy stop talking to Arthur. (Though Buster does a bad job at it.)
• Arthur still thinks that Sue Ellen overreacted, so he photoshops a dog's head on Sue Ellen's body and emails it to her, which makes her not only get rid of the coat, but ask to change classes so she doesn't have to deal with Arthur anymore.
• It's only hearing this news and Arthur seeing the coat in the school's donation boxes does he realize what he did and genuinely apologizes, wearing the coat as a gesture of goodwill.

The new mobile site is terrible; it's slow and clunky, and clearly made to try to push people to use their dedicated app instead.

The .Compact site is much better, though it will still try to redirect to the mobile site now in some cases, and picture albums are totally unusable in the Compact version.
