How long is the game? How long to beat gives different times for the Wii and Switch versions.

Probably because the Switch one may also be including the Future Connected story that takes places a year after the events of the main game.

But the game is definitely pretty long, at 50 hours minimum, but you will also be doing a lot of sidequests. Luckily, the Switch version has an Expert mode that you can activate to prevent yourself from being too overleveled.

Also, when doing sidequests, mind any that has a clock symbol on them, because those will be locked out after certain plot developments.

I guess it's a bit of a licensing nightmare because Square Enix, Nintendo, and Akira Toriyama all have rights to the original product.

Wait, Nintendo has rights to Chrono Trigger? But it released on the Playstation, at a time where Nintendo and Sony's rivalry was at its most bitter (and when Square themselves turned away from Nintendo).

you want to get sadder? There is a book called blood in the cage by former MMA champ Pat Miletich.

part of the book narrates how conservatives tried to shut down and ban MMA, they called it human c***fighting, etc. People from all walks of life were MMA fighters. Then MMA got very big. The book ends with Miletich saying that now conservative politicians were reaching out to him, he said it in a my, my! How things have changed! Kind of way.

fast forward 15 years and now MMA fighters have a swelling number of bigots and racists (Colby convington, chael sonnen, Gina carano, cerrone, mcgreggor, gathje, Brock Lesnar, etc) and they seem to have taken the sport from the diverse and liberal crowd. The liberals built the sport and the conservatives took over it.

the irony is milerich himself became a bigot. He was last seen in the MAGA capitol riots. He saw how conservatives tried to end his livelihood and he drank their kool aid anyway

Yep. I feel that was the point where it started to get too ridiculous.

I mean, it had its moments before--like how the culprits behind DW's stolen snowball actually were aliens--but that was basically just a gag.

I completely stopped paying attention to it once it switched it animation to Flash; it just looks so stiff and soulless now.
