It's the version that replaces Dante with Raidou.

Probably easier to deal with the rights and whatnot, since they actually own Raidou.

Announced in the Mini Direct, coming next year.

Looks to be based on the version with Raidou Kuzunoha in it (which was previously never released outside of Japan), and sounds like it has voice acting.

It's not SMTV, but I'll take it.

Konami made the best version of the original Prince of Persia. Too bad it's forever gone with the Wii Shop Channel closed.

Unless you can still get it on Wii U, but I wouldn't know since I never got one.

If it was never rereleased onto the Wii U eShop, then yeah, it's gone forever.

A change in management (I believe) who discovered that pachinko machines, spa clubs, and mobile games got them far more money with far less effort than actually making games.

Of course, Nintendo is hardly any stranger to publishing/producing M-rated games. You have older games like Eternal Darkness, Geist, and Disaster: Day of Crisis; as well as Bayonetta, Fatal Frame, and Devil's Third, which Nintendo has the publishing rights for.
