The main game isn't that hard once you learn unlike 2016 specific enemies are weak to specific guns or have weak spots. 2016 you could easily use just about any gun and blast away. Some guns where just better than others. Yeah I actually wasn't super fond of that in eternal iirc Still loved the game but I remember there just being a lot of unnecessary new mechanics to what is supposed to be mindless fun.
