I just work mediocre, do JUST enough to please my bosses(not in excess unless I am TRYING to impress). The lower their expectations for your best, the more you can impress. If you're better than your co-workers, that's all you need.

Not the ones with legendaries, they're always there.

Nearly effortless conditions, most of which you'd have already completed by the time you finish the game.

You cut out grinding the money this time. Doesn't take more than 10 minutes, but that's longer than the 3 minutes horde battle take.

It takes 40 seconds for a bottle cap in the festival plaza. And again, you're likely to have amassed them passively during your playthrough.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad these features are reasonably streamlined (with the DLC), but acting like it's some massive improvement from the past is extremely dishonest. The QoL improvements worth mentioning are nature mints/ability patches, XP candy, and transferring moves at the daycare.

It clearly is a massive improvement. I can max EV, IV, level, as well as patch up abilities and add whatever moves I want in maybe a few hours's worth of grinding...to a full party of Pokemon, and change. Even MORE with the DLC. I am 100% certain it'd take much longer and be more difficult in any other game.

Oh, and cool how you left out the part where you didn't recognize the fact that you gotta combine games just to get every legendary, and the massive pain that entire process is. That's cool.

You also can't get a Pokemon to behave like it has 0 IVs in a stat, which some Pokemon need for Trick Room sets.

Those are my only complaints, tbh. Beyond that, the QoL features are incredible.

I wasn't talking about wormholes, it was easier in gen 6, you just fly and go get them (with piss easy conditions). Though wormholes still take less time than a dynamax adventure, and you don't need to coordinate with irl people. You just don't like them subjectively.

Even if you didn't amass more bottle caps than you would ever need through lotteries and pokepelago during your playthrough (which is likely), bottle caps are guaranteed through the first use of lottery when you install it in the festival plaza, so you have as many as you want for less work than a Blissey or Audino raid.

Buying vitamins is nice, but horde battles were still a faster way to earn EVs. And Pokepelago may have taken longer, but you can do it for free and completely passively, it takes about day for each pokemon (or up to 18 at once).

ORAS requires mirage locations, which requires luck. Then you have to catch them at specific times of day, among other things like having max friendship or whatever. And I didn't say I did not like wormholes. Dynamax adventures is simply easier, and actually gives access to every mon since USUM has legendaries split, some of which need to be joined to actually access. Oh, hey, ORAS has that too. So you DO need IRL coordination. Or to play the game twice over and buy it twice.

No, horde battles aren't faster. I walk up to Wyndon, buy all the EVs instantly, and am done. Same with IVs, it takes literal minutes for a gols bottle cap.

I disagree. Wormholes are a chore, and far more limiting. Dynamax, you just have to ask or use a community and you'll find the Pokemon you want. EVs and IVs, maybe? But none of it matches up to how piss easy it is now. Hell, you can do one Blissey/Audino raid and use the rare candy from that, stuff it in the cram-o-matic, and get a gold bottle cap which will instantly max out every IV. Get 7 armorite ore, head on over to diggin pa, then use the watts from him to buy yourself luxury balls. Sell those, and you can probably max out multiple Pokemon EVs.

Yeah, that's the problem.

With a console that brought us Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and FE Three Houses, people expected Pokemon to follow suit in providing a more ground-breaking experience for the series.

Instead, we got business as usual with an even worse postgame than before, an even easier game than ever, little to no dungeons and exploration, outright-removed Pokemon, and some of the worst connectivity features in a game ever.

I wouldn't say business as usual at ALL. The wild area(and the DLC areas) were fantastic. The story was good and had some interesting bits( the final boss fight is the most unique in the series ). It had a LOT of good going for it. If they add in the rest of the Pokemon, beef up the engine a little bit, and add in a lot more QoL features...it'll be the best the series has ever been.

Hell, if you just want QoL features, this Pokemon game is the easiest to:

- Max level Pokemon
- Max EV Pokemon
- Max IV Pokemon
- Catch any legendary the series has ever had(with the Crown Tundra DLC)
- Keep your entire party(you don't need any HMs or HM slaves in the whole game)
- Egg breed
- Shiny breed
- You can now freely switch between natures, and abilities(even hidden abilities in crown tundra!)

On top if all that, I think the post-game is great. Dynamax adventures and raids, as well as PvP is always fun. I've been playing raids for a good amount of time at this point.

In terms of mechanics, this game has some of the best stuff. I think it's got so much potential. Bringing in some of the old stuff(Megas, Z-moves, etc) would HEAVILY enhance the game.

It's on the precipice of greatness.

Sword/Shield is the 3rd highest selling Pokmon game despite legendary amounts of backlash. Just what the fuck?! It feels like I'm the only one who DIDN'T buy them anyway and stood my ground on the issue.

As someone who got SwSh just a month ago, I have been having a lot of fun. The backlash is deserved, but honestly, it's a bit much despite that. People act like it's bad or something. It's good, just not AS good as it could be.

If they had only complied, I don't think this would've happened. They could've had the same situation, cancelling the tourney, but all the negativity on Nintendo instead of them.

They should've expected nintendo to throw a C&D.

As someine who's explicitly not gay, I've never seen the positives of guys wearing make-up. It doesn't look good on a guy(except very specific circumstances, like maybe that stuff that you put on your eyelids or whatever), it just looks trashy. Especially THAT much make-up as in the thumbnail on both. Looks like they got a big piece of paper, painted make-up on it, then slammed it on their face.

If I was gay, I'd probably be into dudes who don't do that. Just looks bad.

Even though Watchmen had some problems, he's at his best when trying to recreate comics panel by panel.

I think he really excells at that sorta stuff. Especially the visuao style. It's hard to explain, but it's a gritty realism that feels like it's been peeled off onto the screen.

Plus he generally has really good actors in these roles. Say what you will, but he always has a good cast under him. JDM as The Comedian was a legitimately perfect casting, though.
