Hmm, so I can get a Thompson (theoretically) with a basic 30-30-30-30 spread? Interesting... Wasn't super interested in her due to her evasion, but that's pretty cheap.

It's fun, albeit a bit grindy. All the units in the game are robot girls (anthropomorphized firearms) and they have battlefield hijinx against an evil rival company.

Also...just found a site that keeps track of all the reset timers and stuff. Seems useful.

Oh, guess I already have a P38 sitting around. Not surprising, considering how slim the pickings were early in the game. Guess I just forgot since I've never actually seen her use the flare on auto ability (or whatever that mode's called where they instantly use their techs).

That's pretty solid so far. M2HB is another underrated gem that outperforms her rarity by quite a bit.

Her passive is pretty nice, but I haven't upgraded it yet. In general, I don't want to bring her out for normal missions since she chews through ammo. She has some kind of AP ammo upgrade though, so it should be good enough for the first night mission (which I still haven't beaten lmao).

Dammit, I figured it wouldn't be as easy as including some scrub HG to buff everyone else. Not sure if I have any flare users, at least of the 2-star handguns I have laying around. I tend to dismantle all the other ones, haha.

Anyway, my team is basically just two echelons with Lv30-40 logistics runners. I only have that one MG, so I might have to shift it around for a better team composition.

I didn't know she becomes a five-star later on (plot-related?). I take it it's best to get in as many cheap dummy upgrades as possible before then, right?

She's not too shabby so far. I deliberately made a small squad with zero upgrades to grind mission 1-2 for fodder HGs. It turns out, after beating the mission over 60 times, the dividends start dwindling a bit, haha.

I really liked how Speech was a viable option in most encounters in New Vegas.

Being able to reason with Legate Lanius instead of doing a final battle was pretty sweet.

I thought it was really lame actually. Ill just spoiler all this just in case. They talk about Lanius as though he is this brutal, godlike savage who has killed hundreds and hundreds of NCR soldiers and is loyal only to Caeser himself. And then you just talk him down by telling him that theyve already lost. Thats just anticlimactic and doesnt fit his previous characterization, who wouldve probably laughed at you and cut you down where you stand.

Going from Joshua Graham, an intelligent badass, to a lackwit murder machine wouldn't make much sense either. I mean, Caesar is fairly bright himself, so he wouldn't make some moron his number two. Just goes to show you that you can't believe all the anti-Legion propaganda!
