No one is bemoaning that they those people can't judge any more, and in the past when it's been brought to light that someone has that in their past, they've been decertified.

The issue is that not all judges are store employees. It's like requiring Gamefaqs to run background checks on their mods. For some, prohibitively costly, and to fix a non-existent problem.

It's not as if we're talking about cases where players were molested/raped at events by these judges

It's not so much Jeremy that caused the checks to be required, it was Wizards that set the precedent of banning people with criminal pasts. Jeremy just called attention to it (and the added bonus of them being judges) as payback. The guy is a d-bag but this is something that Wizards should have been on top of a long time ago. Especially with the way they try to straddle the line of judges not being employees while still getting them to work for them.

No, her angry ex made it up and it's been proven false. There was nothing to support it at the time. And there are fucking chatlogs of Gamerbabys saying their goal was to harass her into killing herself.

Her ex never implied it. He only named a few people. It was youtubers who first made the implication, several days after. Plus he was in the credits of the game. No disclosure. The chatlogs are of edgy 4-channers doing what edgy 4-channers do.

Eh tbh I think more topics like that should be locked. They're just pointless. If the TC is there clearly bragging about triggering his 'opponents' that's not really adding anything to the board.

But to be fair, every second post in that topic was people trolling him back. It's inevitable with every Admiral topic, so either you leave that one open or lock every topic of his. (Unless he does a 180 in posting style which seems unlikely.) I didn't see any reason to lock that topic.

Try it once just to experience it, even talk to some of the women working there. Lots of them like to just come around and chat when it's slower. And I definitely thought that what the Blues and Scottie Upshall did to raise money for the Fort McMurray fires last year was super classy. Much respect.

I don't care what you want to call it but shredded mozarella is way better than cheese curds. Also, French's chicken gravy goes surprisingly well on poutine. We make ours at home fairly regularly.
