One of the reasons the comic book ending worked was that there were clues and references building up to it. And if read in a semi-monthly format as the original run happened, the reader would have time to think about and digest these clues or why they were included in the first place. There was a lot of mystery throughout the series. The movie ending works because they couldn't be as subtle about it as the comics were.

Right now FFBE War of the Visions is scratching my FFT itch, especially with the upcoming FFT content coming in a day or so. Granted its a horrible grindy gacha game so I don't know how much longer it'll work for.

Divine Pulse is a huge Quality of Life improvement. No more resetting a long map because of a lucky 2% crit towards the end.

Honestly the only one I've got my eye on so far is the big guy who likes food because there's no real tank character in Black Eagles from what I can tell.

This slipped my mind but Edelgard makes a great physical tank. Petra makes a good dodge tank.

Do the kids from other houses have those social support with the kids in your house or nah?

Go to the menu, go to Support, and you can see which ones are available for each character.

Ferdinand can make an okay tank with some work but I always found him better as a Cavalier type. Shields and battalions can really help make a character difficult to damage.

Should I be trying to befriend the other house students and teachers?

Generally you'll want to try and lure over a couple but sticking with the main characters of your house is pretty good since they all support each other whereas inter-house supports and their accompanying bonuses are not that common. Support conversations are always interesting though.

Lunches and faculty training are usually your best choices for free time. Take note that if you are aiming for a specific student to join you, try and dine with them, give them gifts, and train in the stats they want you to have.

Not sure just how much advice you are looking for so I'll refrain on giving you too much so that you can figure out some things on your own. I find games more enjoyable that way personally.

The second women doesn't have to worry about why you would be single in the first place whereas when you are in a relationship that means another woman has already gone through the vetting process with you. Also, confidence, lack of desperation, among other things.

the problem is they dont get payed much for the overtime and are forced into it or get fired and people have no choice but to put up with it cus they need the pay check

CDPR employees get paid 150-200% for their overtime. It is also against overtime law for anyone to work more than 13 hours in a day or to work 7 days a week in the EU. Furthermore, it is not mandatory overtime. That is why it is pushed back 5 months instead of being released on schedule. They've taken multiple steps to reduce the effects of 'crunch' since the criticism they received for utilizing it on Witcher 3.

The company itself has called out its policies as being shit for its workers. I think you'd be very foolish to think that nobody is complaining. No single employee is going to risk their neck to say that their company is abusing them. The industry has made it very tough for crunch to be an issue you can come out and talk about.

You would be the type of poster to unironically post a Kotaku article. The author even directly quotes the CEO and then later on twists his message:

They're paid out per pay period at OT rates. Time and a half or Double time. And still optional.

Game developers absolutely do need a union. As someone who participates and shapes arguments for collective bargaining agreements, I can tell you that the employers will negotiate crunch-time (overtime) into arguments regardless. The trade off would be for the developers to negotiate for. Whether it's increased pay, job security clauses, or scheduling agreements.

The tapes can be fast forwarded sentence by sentence, which greatly improved any code talker or ocelot speech. Preferred to read the story anyway.
I got 200 hours or so out of it, almost all of that due to the gameplay. I liked the optional objectives but hated the scoring system. Story was nowhere near as good as the rest of the series.
