I'm enjoying Nikke so far. It took me roughly 10 rerolls throughout the first three days to get a decent team. (One reroll got me Emma 4 times with no other SSR)
I just hope I can get to a point where I can do the dailies in 15 minutes or so. Games that take longer than that I tend to drop.
I definitely suck at the EX stages.

Whatever they could design and create would cost way too much compared to a box of condoms. They're practically perfect already for protecting sensitive sound equipment from moisture while being thin enough to not greatly affect the sound quality.

1. This is BS fan speculation, he got clowned by Thanos, Thor and even she-hulk. Until he proves himself againsta foe of their caliber hes a joke, end of story. The Boulder toss also was a outlier probably added post production because they didn't want him to be totally outdone.
2. If Hulk didn't want to be mowed over that jeep wouldn't have bunged him, period. This modified garbage is just more fan made up BS.
If they don't want Hulk to be the strongest there is they should just kill him off or something. Becuase that's the enitre damn point of his character and appeal.

The store the skids set up in front of was one I always went to as a kid in Sudbury. I remember renting Smash Bros 64 every Friday from there.
The bar from season one was right across the same parking lot.
The restaurant from one of the second or third seasons was across the road from that one. It's always surreal seeing a popular show using areas I grew up in as sets for filming.
Some of my high school friends cameo as degens from upcountry.

For anyone who's been playing Azur Lane longer than me, how often do new ships get added to permanent construction? I prioritized getting two Elite ships I wanted from Wishing Well instead of the Operation Convergence trio so knowing my luck I've probably wasted my chance to pull for Brunhilde. Even if I use gems to try and pull for her I'm probably just gonna disappoint myself because my stupid shipbuilding luck only ever seems to apply for ships I'm not specifically looking for.

Roughly a year after the event itself. Smaller events like this one are sometimes sooner. They will rerun the event once before going to permanent construction.

I'm about to use my free SR invite in Azur Lane. Design-wise I have my eye on Hood and Essex, but looking at their wiki pages it seems like Essex has more limited availability. So I should totally get Essex, right?

Oh, wait, I think I completely misinterpreted Essex's wiki page. She's part of the permanent build pool for Special building? ...She still looks cool though, probably still gonna get her.

She's a very strong carrier. Hood can be gotten in the requisition medal at shop almost anytime. Hood is one of the original cast at release but didn't age as well as most other main fleet ships.

I thought fire and lightning mages are bad, since those are strength and skill focused elements. It's high magic you want, isn't it? And water gives magic bonuses.

Sorry I wasn't clear. The second tier of mages are categorized as Fire, Ice, and Lightning mages. These dictate their attack patterns.

Earlier I was using elements in place of affinities. Their affinity dictates their stats. The element they become has no relation to their affinity and is selectable on upgrade.

Ice uses a diamond pattern around a single target. Lighting attacks a column. Fire attacks a row.

I've had a Mage the entire game and it's never evolved into the next class. I'm sure it's the INT stat being to low, but god damn. Not that I"m missing them, I think the Mages are rather terrible in this game.

Mages are quite strong, but sometimes a bad element can make their growth abysmal. Fire and Lightning mages are very powerful on offense. Try using an element changer and see if their INT changes.

She is still one of the strongest carriers in the game despite her age. Get her.

I underestimated just how real the grind for Kaga and Akagi is. They're the only ships from 3-4 that I haven't found yet, not sure what I expected tbh. Still only 3 days into the grind, so still cautiously optimistic.

At least the toolbox plans are always useful and you can never get enough of them.

Of all the companies that could potentially bring back the idea of company scrip, I didn't think CFA would be up there.

Semi-professional status in MTG. Then they changed the system and how professional points were accumulated and it just wasn't worth the time investment and cost.

Sounds like your first job isn't rewarding whereas you are hoping the coaching will be a little bit more fulfilling. Just keep in mind fulfillment doesn't have to come from a job or career necessarily. Having your needs met with low hours and non-stressful work sounds amazing. The downtime can be used to volunteer or take up a hobby. Just my thoughts.

So I still play Azur Lane daily. I have a hard time keeping attention on any other games for a long time. Got nostalgic when I heard of FFRK closing, and Brave Frontier before that. Decided to re-download some older games.
FFBE is still going, and is still as buggy and full of power-creep as usual. Better QoL improvements are helpful though. It's going through it's 6th anniversary celebrations.
I also re-downloaded DBZ Dokkan again. It's going through it's 7th celebration. Still a very grindy game, but it's still fun assembling a team. I was also surprised to learn that at some point they added auto-map movement and auto-battle. That should make the grind a little easier.

That's a surprisingly decent deal for Evander Kane's level of production. Really dislike him as a person though. If this includes any form of trade protection I won't like it.

I made that image my splash screen background. I like that this game allows you to do that with event scenes and loading screens. Azur Lane could use a similar feature.

Someone who is self taught shows they are passionate and interested in the subject. That's a form of dedication that doesn't require spending tens of thousands of dollars. Free courses exist for a reason. But I can understand the hesitancy from a recruiters perspective. Did they ask to see a portfolio?

Going to the prerelease in an hour and I've never drafted before. Any advice?

Either draft for high value, or draft to win. By that I mean if in your third pack you have an idea what colours you are going to play already, but you see a planeswalker card that isn't in your colours come along, grab it. It weakens your overall deck because you could have picked a better card, but your prize for winning is more packs anyways. You can get your money's worth if you know the value of cards you're picking.

Don't lock yourself into playing certain colours early on. Identify strong cards, usually in your Rares/Uncommon slots, but not always. Some cards are better in Limited formats like drafting than they might otherwise seem. Flying, Lifelink, recursion, removal, token generating. Those are prioritized over combo generating cards.

Unless you research a draft archetype going in that's specific to that set, you're probably aiming for mana cohesion over everything else. So, Green/Black for example, or Blue/White. Don't go three colours unless you have no choice. Mono-colour will be almost impossible and you just limit yourself. Other players in your draft pod would have to almost exclusively give up on the colour for that to work.

Speaking of other players, you'll get an idea of what colours they're picking around you because certain colours will be easier/harder to get. That's something you can use going forward if you pay attention to it, but that's more advanced strategy.

Edit: Everything I said applies to more Traditional Draft. Never done Commander Draft.

Black Desert (MMO game) allowed for AFK fishing which I thought was a great way to do it.

Higher octane gas does not affect gas mileage. Lower grades of gasoline commonly have ethanol added which premium octanes do not. Ethanol gives you less gas mileage. That's probably why you've noticed a difference.

Melatonin helps you fall asleep. It doesn't help you stay asleep, in my experience. I usually wake up after my first REM cycle.

They used to have more variety in the events for using points. I miss the gacha version of the rewards shop. But you only have to grind until a map is cleared, then it's mindless auto for the rest of the event. And doing the daily missions plus the one map a day is usually more than enough points.
