I thought Auron would lose to Vincent...who would then lose to Sub-Zero. Lots of people had that combo. So not so obvious after all.

Not sure if they're upsets anymore, but Bayonetta is looking good to beat Geralt and Alucard is looking good to beat Kefka.

Also Square is looking better as the contest goes on. Tifa has a shot.

Johnny Cage, is probably the strongest of these options, but I'm sure he's still just high fodder at best.

Cage beat Scorpion pretty handily in the last poll. I could see Cage defeating half of the first round losers of this current contest. At best with the right bracket he could get past round 2...but yea...most would be fodder. But I'd like him to get a shot.

I would bet money that if Sub-Zero were not there, Scorpion would be winning this poll.

I actually nominated Shao Kahn..... and Baraka but I knew he had no chance in hell to make it in the contest.

Poor Baraka gets killed in MKX anyways... and isn't even playable aside from the mobile game!

Johnny Cage would make it past the first round at least.

Liu Kang isn't very popular among the hardcore MK community. I think he's more popular among the casual community.

All MK popularity polls usually have some combination of Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Johnny Cage as the top 3. With Raiden always in the Top 5, and Noob Saibot always in the top 10.

From there it's really up for grabs.

I think Cage would do well.

If Vincent can beat Auron, Vincent will also beat Sub-Zero.

I disagree.

If Vincent beats Auron then he ruins alot of brackets. Out of spite, the Auron supporters may rally against him.

Subs is going to get 40% on Vincent regardless...so that Boost of spiteful Auron fans might be enough to rally him into the Division finals.

Agree. But even if he gets past Auron Sub-Zeto is no pushover.

He'd gain 40% on Vincent naturally...but with all the hate he'll get from the community members who picked Auron (and now have broken brackets) it might be enough for Subs to rally past.
