Has anybody ever done a tournament bracket similar to GameFaqs character battles with nothing but fighting game characters?
I'm interested in seeing the results (although I'm pretty certain the winners were either Sub-Zero/Scorpion or Ryu) |

Noob Saibot is the original Sub-Zero and true foil for Scorpion
Between the two Sub-Zero's Bi Han (Noob) is the more popular character. So from a casual standpoint you see Sub-Zero and you see a powerhouse, and you see Noob Saibot and you see a stepping stone. But when you get people voting who know their history, ala people on a video game web-site and its easy to see that Noob is terribly underseeded. |

Mortal Kombat (2011) has been the most popular new game thus far this year in terms of staying at the top of the top ten games and top 10 boards list.
Raiden vs Kahn was pretty much the basis of that whole game. And anyone who actually got to the ridiculously hard final boss battle would definitely give this rival some weight. Poor overlook. |

Went with Leon/Ada because I basically see this as Resident Evil 4 versus Mortal Kombat franchise, and we all know who wins there. Its 2011 buddy. |

Theres a rival that will largely go unpicked by a large group of people but has the serious potential to upset it way to the quarterfinals.
MK characters always pull off unecessary upsets. |
