I have a friend whose father is around but didn't provide him guidance when he was younger, so he's filling the void with other podcasters like Kevin Samuel for male guidance. I really wish he'd go to Jordan Petersen because as it is now, he's getting a warped view on women (this isn't to say that there's a societal crisis in the dating world), reinforced by his previously failed relationship.

Theres nothing wrong with Kevin Samuel either, modern dating is largely transactional and should be approached in a pragmatic way. Take the world for how it is and not how you wish it was.

Is it really targeting or calling out said poor attitudes and habits for what they are? I always figured if he made someone mad it's because he was talking about them. The counterarguments are never about the argument.

Kind of. I've had good things happen to me and in the abscense of those things I now have a life I don't really want. Sex doesnt help, friends and family don't help, and I don't necessarily feel in despair or down, I just wake up not wanting the 50 years I have left. So thats what I work on daily.
