He essentially uses the term to describe any group that feels like there is some sort of oppression perpetrated by a ruling class. Classically this would be an economic relationship between the oppressor (bourgeoisie) and the oppressed (proletariat) but it's not been extended to include any sort of group that feel their identity is being oppressed by a ruling class. 3 minutes here he explains it... if you don't like Peterson he kinda gets owned a bit by Zizek on how he keeps using the term Marxist. One is that he's actually a good motivational speaker, which is actually a little problematic because once his personal opinions come in to his speaking, it can very easily go from inspiring someone to do better to just redirecting any self-pointed hatred/anxiety/anger to a new target which... Isn't really the best way to deal with that situation to put it lightly. From those two points, and the fact that people looking in to him are either the type that want to play in to his opinions or people that genuinely need help with themselves, it creates what is a deceptively toxic environment.
