To be fair, I don't think Seteth is literally a child of Sothis in the same way that Rhea is. Meanwhile if you consider Sitri her daughter then Rhea is literally Byleth's grandmother on his mom's side of the family, related to him by blood on his father's side, and spiritually his daughter through Sothis.

But at the same time, Rhea is literally the daughter of a goddess and a basically immortal dragon that's been alive longer than pretty much everyone else so rules don't really apply to her. Also her support is wholesome as fuck.

I mean you can S-support Rhea on Silver Snow and she's the daughter of the spirit residing in Byleth's body, the genetic basis for Byleth's mother who was a homunculus, and gave blood to Jeralt many years ago to save his life when he protected her so she's related to Byleth in at least three different ways. It's best to not think about it too much.

He knew who she and Zadornov both were, and that she was involved with the CIA, KGB and Cipher as a triple agent. It's one of those things that Kojima seemingly just forgot about in between games like how Snake asks to stop being called by his codename and goes by "Big Boss" after his speech, but this vanishes by GZ and literally everyone goes back to calling him Snake.

Remember when Kaz said in Peace Walker that he knew who Paz was all along because he was working with Cipher, but then in Ground Zeroes he says Paz had him completely fooled and he had no idea about her true identity?

I preferred 3 honestly, the gadget and attachment bloat got absolutely ridiculous and the unlock system for said attachments was horrible. Also I absolutely hated how scout helicopters were near invincible with someone sticking their repair torch up the pilot's ass unless multiple people shot at them, it was easier to shoot down an attack helicopter than some flimsy Littlebird with no armor.

Remember how you fought Ornstein and Smough, but actually that wasn't Ornstein and he's randomly in a church thousands of years later, but that's not him either and the one in Anor Londo was really an illusion, and the real one just fucked off centuries before DS1? Also that wasn't actually Smough either because he stayed behind in Anor Londo to defend Gwyndolin from Aldritch and lost his life doing so, and the one you fought was an illusion just like Ornstein.

I think it says a lot that literally no one who voted for Sephiroth for best villain actually said why, and the people voting Cloud are openly admitting that it's nostalgia.

I hate this because the Sakura Wars reboot was fantastic, but the tie-in sequel anime ranged from mediocre to awful depending on the episode, the stage play was delayed for a year, and the gacha is a failure, and knowing Sega that's going to be enough to shelve the franchise again like what they did after Valkyria Chronicles 4 undersold.

This is how I feel about Cloud and Sephiroth, there's absolutely nothing resembling a rivalry in FFVII and it's entirely an invention of things from after release like the compilation. Hell, I'm pretty sure Sephiroth's creepy obsession with stalking Cloud started in Kingdom Hearts of all things.

Remember last summer when they announced their plans to turn arcade machines into cloud computing centers for when they're not in use, and then less than six months later they announced they were selling a ton of their arcades because coronavirus has ruined their profitability? Sega have always been the masters of awful decisions.

Oh and don't forget their anniversary celebration was a miniature Game Gear that literally no one cared about.

Yeah, when the Death Knight is a green unit and everyone's wondering what the fuck is going on, Edelgard is all "yeah it's weird he's on our side but I'll explain everything later" but then the timeskip happens and the matter is never brought up again.

Ironically Church was actually the very first route written for the game and was the only BE route, whereas siding with Edelgard was clearly jammed in at the last minute and it showed.

Golden Deer definitely gives more insight to the plot, and if you do that next I'd wait to play church side of Black Eagles since they share a lot of stages.

Also when you do decide to do church make sure you max Rhea's support before the timeskip because you won't have any chance for that afterwards.

I mean if we're being pedantic, Y'shtola is the playable character in a mandatory segment in FFXIV for a battle which means people couldn't even nominate her, so that's a rabbit hole we really shouldn't be going down.

Golbez isn't controllable at all or even a party member in FFIV and literally no one cares about TAY so I think we can ignore everything that happened there.

I feel like the "little sun" scene made people forget that Y'shtola had the personality of a dishrag beforehand and spent half of both Heavensward and Stormblood completely absent from the plot, but "she's sassy now" completely invalidates that somehow

Oh my bad, it's the Nismo that goes for 200k, but a $130,000 price hike over a decade is still absurd.

The Nissan GT-R Black Edition this year is $200,000, it's absolutely ridiculous when the MSRP of the base model was $70,000 13 years ago.

A very large portion of VNs from the late 90s/early 2000s had sexual content in some way, it was pretty much standard.

I think it's worth noting that Edelgard is almost a completely different character in CF compared to how she behaves in every other route, though this can be partially attributed to Byleth's presence as the other BE students point out.

Also with the lack of cutscenes and how short it is, CF seems like it was the last route they designed and just ran out of time, like how the Death Knight without DLC shows up as an ally once and Edelgard says she'll explain later, and the matter is completely dropped.
