Stormblood is where they honestly got worse. People actually complained that the Y'shtola duty was too hard because you had to attack AND heal at the same time and that's too much for the Netflix healer crowd that just wants to spam Cure II. As a result the duty in the next patch where you play as Hien against Zenos doesn't even require actual player input and you can literally run in circles doing nothing until you win by default.

I'm honestly skeptical given that this is Yoshi-P's first project outside the MMO and mobile division. Also outside of one or two fights the single player duties of FFXIV have been dreadfully boring thanks to the playerbase complaining about having to push more than three buttons.

The only ones I'm interested in are FF1 for a modern port with the NES magic system and FF3 since the west never got an official 2D release. Overall the price they're asking for is ridiculous.

Me too. And I don't get it. D&D is a big license and has a ton of fans with a long history. Why have we gotten crappy games from 3rd rate developers for all these years? Was the last good game Neverwinter Nights 2?

I assume Baldur's Gate 3 is going to set things right, but I really liked the first 2 Dark Alliance games. Even more fun playing co-op with my friends on the couch at my house. Not trying to match up with random online dummies.

I mean, taking Divinity Original Sin, putting it in a DnD coat of paint and slapping the Baldur's Gate name on it is a kind of insulting attempt at a nostalgia grab.

literally no solo instance in this entire game is bullshit anymore, they nerfed them all into the ground and added some hp regen effect into all of them afaik

like there were some that you couldn't make mistakes at all in 2.x but im pretty sure those have been nerfed into oblivion

I hate to break it to you but the people at Rockstar San Diego who made Midnight Club for years were removed when they complained about conditions during Red Dead Redemption's development.
