Welp, last day for Symphogear XDU global. Wish I could say it was fun, but it's pretty clear that Pokelabo deliberately killed it so they could focus on SinoAlice instead. The event schedule was a complete mess with how rushed it was and they already had the level 70 whaling set up even though it wasn't present in the JP launch, they just wanted to make a quick buck and realized after like 2 months it wasn't going to make enough money.

Remember how in Ace Combat 04, one of the cannons was non-functional? That was damage from a Ulysses fragment impact, and so that single cannon survived the ISAF air raid and sat dormant for nearly 20 years.

Enemies in 7 are definitely more aggressive than in previous games. Ace difficulty is no longer instant death from missile hits but enemy planes are absolutely ruthless with their missile launches, especially the drones. The fact that the game had development issues starts to show later in the story though, there's plot threads that are completely dropped and there's a span of like three or four missions with zero cutscenes to indicate anything is happening with the rest of the war.

I'm not sure why it actually happening is such a shock. Remember when the US was collaborating with the Mujahideen to kill Soviet soldiers and undermine their occupation of Afghanistan? This is nothing new between the US and Russia.

Battle with the Four Fiends is probably my favorite boss theme. IIRC IV was the first game with boss specific themes and they really knocked it out of the park with that and Golbez, Clad in Darkness

I heard your story a couple of years, always complaining about others and what they have done and never really admit to what you contribute. You were there too you are not an innocent bystander. You still after many years blame him. You could have been a mechanism to help heal, yet you stood by you claim this and that you a victim (sorry it looks like you crave attention). Makoto might possibly be the most boring party member in the game, it has to bend over backwards and make everyone else become dumber the moment she joins up just so she can seem smart

I hope the new weapons we get are a bit more "normal", we went from odachi and tonfas being added in the last game to magical flying double hatchets and a wannabe Bloodborne trick weapon that turns into a scythe.
The switchglaive also killed my expectations for actually getting a naginata since that's pretty much its mid stance and the one boss that uses a naginata just has a mix of switchglaive and spear moves.

I can't wait for the DLC next month, the first game's DLC was excellent. Also I like how the Nine-tailed Fox in Bloodshed's End was actually Tamamo-no-Mae who escaped from Byodo-In when Tokichiro released her in Nioh 2

she calls you back to the Waking Sands over linkpearl so she can tell you to go talk to an NPC in a completely different zone when you could have just cut out going back in the first place, and then in 2.x she's a damsel in distress twice because she's incapable of fighting like literally every other Scion
Then in Leviathan patch it seems like she's finally going to do something but nope it's Thancred and Yugiri that do the fighting while Minfilia bemoans her worthlessness

Miyuki Sawashiro doesn't redeem the most worthless member of the Scions, which is why she gets written out of the story a whopping three times and now she's finally gone for good

Then again Y'shtola had virtually no personality until Stormblood but people practically worship her every time she appears on-screen and she's the face of FFXIV in crossovers.
