I think it's like 1 episode, and yeah it's worth a watch if you're a fan of FF7. And watch the Sub.

Just be aware they rewrote a section of FF7. Sephiroth jumps in the lifestream willingly vs being thrown in

Eh, it's nothing special honestly. Just kinda expands on a few scenes from the game + gives a bit more background info.
But tbh, I never played Crisis Core and I still love Zack. Everything you need to know to like him is available in the original FF7.
