I understand fringe cases for infirm individuals or those who simply may not have a local place to get it, but you have literal years.

I don't know why people keep saying that. They work on way too wide of a variety of games to make any conclusion. From their CEO basically admitting they have no intrinsic value and their employees having embarrassing meltdowns, I don't think they're a company that provides an actual valuable service, but there's no way to actually quantify the effect they've had on games.

I think people are definitely losing the plot on the whole making things worse argument. We have no quantifiable way of knowing what exactly they bring to a game, but I would not consider them good faith actors. Theres a fine line between offering a service that people want to use and making yourself a service that people need to use, and Im pretty sure they are the latter. Thats not to say games being more diverse is bad, but monetizing it is tricky balance that they dont seem to have captured.

For me personally, it's one of the worst adaptations of something I've ever seen. The fight in the webcomic was fucking perfection, so that being adapted and expanded was something I was really hyped for years over. The fact that the original author is involved with it is fucking mind boggling. It literally feels like someone who didn't understand the point of the manga's fight adapted it. The manga returns to more of a normal expanded adaptation after that arc.

i know hes supposed to be a gag character thats like the strongest of all but how does he beat reality warpers or time travelers?
If we're going by how the manga handles him, his base level strength is like low-planet buster-ish and he'll exponentially increase in strength if an opponent challenges him on an even-ish level. So anyone who's a planet buster and above can just one-shot him otherwise. He has used time travel through dumb martial arts but doesn't remember it, so him being eventually becoming strong enough to no-sell reality warping bullshit probably isn't out of the question.
