About not wanting to read Spider-Man until Peter & MJ get back together, honestly I can understand that. Everything since OMD has kind of felt... non-canon, I guess? Which is not to say good or bad, just that it doesn't feel like the 100% official mainline Spider-Man, any more than Ultimate Spider-Man or the cartoons or the movies.

So I got a new fightgame controller in the mail yesterday. It's a Hitbox, one of those ones where they replace the the stick with 4 more buttons for up/down/left/right, like this:
This is going to take some SERIOUS getting used to but the potential is huge. I was trying it out in UMvC3 training mode and I was doing all these complicated movement techniques, like back wavedashing, wavedashing with Wolverine without accidentally doing the speed boost hyper, and airdashing straight down immediately after a super jump like they were nothing. But basic movement techniques like just jumping after a launcher were challenging. I'm gonna have to relearn a lot of stuff. I guess the more advanced stuff was easier to pick up because it was stuff I couldn't do before, so I didn't have to unlearn the old way of doing it.
Soon I need to try it out on MK9. I feel like the slower pace, tap-tap special commands, and more liberal combo buffering will make it much easier.

yes lets just turn this chair upside down and take that rather pointy wooden end that's been all over the floor for who knows how long picking up all kinds of dust and grit and just jam it in there. there are certainly women who say things like this, and they are clearly the type of person one wants to involve themselves with

It looks like these are Japanese-only sets. He claims complete collections of 19 games for both Virtual Boy and 32X, the only platforms with small enough libraries so that you can easily count them. Virtual Boy did indeed have 19 games in Japan, however the US had 3 games that didn't come to Japan. Even worse is the 32X; it actually only had 18 games in Japan so I'm not even sure where he's getting 19 from. Either he's including a random game from outside Japan as well or he just can't count. And the platform has 34 games total so Japan-only is leaving a LOT out, including the two most expensive games which are the only truly valuable ones.

It's a tough card because the only "break" matches are the X-Division Qualifiers, but since they're qualifying for a match later in the card you can't just toss them in like normal break matches.
It also seems kind of challenging to book the winner of the Last Chance 4-way into the Ultimate X itself, because that would put him in THREE matches in one night. It will depend what the 4-way and the winner's qualifier are like, they could be quick and not at all demanding. But I would not normally want to see someone who had already wrestled TWICE that night get put into a match as potentially dangerous as an Ultimate X, especially considering everyone else in it has already wrestled once themselves.

It'll be a good PPV I'm sure, but I can't see Aries winning the title right now so that's killing it for me. It really feels like they're building up the BFG series as the way that Roode's dominance will (or at least CAN) end, so title matches before that kinda feel like, well of course he won't lose the title. Aries will make a good show of it but it's most likely just a way to cement Roode's run even further so it's that much more epic when the BFG series winner finally takes him down.
Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I feel.

Having been robbed at gunpoint many years ago, I imagine that guy. He was Hispanic, I would guess Puerto Rican (based solely on the demographics of the area).

Also yeah pretty surprising about Kenny King, but I wonder if that was the best career move he could have made. Being in TNA probably pays better than being in ROH, at least as long you make it onto television regularly, but I feel like it's easier to get to WWE from ROH than from TNA, and that's where the real money is. Maybe he didn't feel good about his WWE chances or he decided to take the best offer he had now instead of holding out for a better one that may never come, but this may be as far as he's ever able to get now. Certainly the manner in which he left ROH can't be winning him too many fans among corporate types anywhere.

Wasn't that fairly obvious? I think if you go back and look at who was in the ring all those times Madison was smitten, Hebner was the only one who was there every time. Definitely after they deconfirmed Garrett last week.

There's only 16 Vault movies, and I don't think there's any real hard-and-fast rules about how often they can come out. I'm pretty sure more popular ones like Aladdin and The Lion King come out more frequently than stuff like Pinocchio or Lady and the Tramp.
Anyway the best cartoon is The Road To El Dorado which isn't even Disney so who cares about the stupid vault.

It would be just like Capcom for the whole thing to be real but the name is different.
Like I'm fairly certain when vanilla Marvel 3 launched and a bunch of naysayers who were cynical after SSF4 were like "oh just wait for SUPER MvC3 to come out next year", someone at Capcom was like "no there's not gonna be a Super MvC3 next year". Which was technically true, as there was ULTIMATE (not Super!) MvC3 later the SAME year (not next year!).
So I would not be at all surprised if everything is true except that it's called Marvelous Edition and it costs $20.

Apple said it already holds a patent for a universal interface for retrieval of information in a computer system.
And Google created Google Desktop first. I wonder what that does.
Actually it sounds like Apple's patent may go back at least as far as Sherlock, which was introduced back in Mac OS 8.5. But yeah it's pretty crappy if Google started infringing on a 1998 patent in 2004 and Apple didn't bother to sue over it until 2012. Especially since it's only being done to block a competitive product in a completely different market.

a. nony mous @uncanny_edition taskmaster has a really unique new hyper combo a. nony mous @uncanny_edition dpm + atk atk is "mad swordplay a" a. nony mous @uncanny_edition this can rekka into qcf+atk atk mad swordplay b which then rekkas into qcb+atk atk mad swordplay c, making this a level 1 2 or 3 hyper
Complete bull****. You can't have rekka hypers in Marvel because doing qcf+atk atk during a hyper gets you a THC to your next character. Or if you did have them, they would have to be single-attack inputs. I could be wrong but I can't see even Capcom being ****ty enough to make a new hyper that completely changes the rules for how the game systems work. Like would this be the ONE hyper you can't THC out of? Or would you be able to THC, just not with the one specific input for the rekka hyper? This would just be too much bull**** even for Capcom.
Also they better not be done with Marvel 3, they still owe us a ****ing Magneto alt costume. After all, they took it out of the DLC because Spain sued them, but they didn't drop the price any so we paid for it.

I'm flying with the Tuskegee Airmen over New York City. If we can keep Regis Philbin's fighters off the bombers long enough for them to take out OsCorp Tower, the Iron Throne of Westeros will be ours.

To be fair, every single web-shooter-based version of Spider-Man's webbing always has him talking about buying the chemicals he needs to make the webbing, so he's still buying SOMETHING. And really, just buying it ready-made is almost MORE logical. Not just because how does this kid invent this ****, but remember in Batman Begins when Batman and Alfred are talking about how to procure the stuff he needs to be Batman without making it obvious that he's Batman? They order stuff in ridiculously large quantities and set up dummy corporations to order each single thing they need, so nobody can look at what Wayne Enterprises is buying and say hey, they're buying a ton of X, Y, and Z, if you put those together you can make **** like what Batman uses. So if Peter had to order X, Y, and Z to make his webbing, I really don't think he'd be clever enough, or have the resources, to do something like that. So then you'd just have someone look at his Amazon history and say huh why is this kid ordering all these chemicals over and over, I wonder what happens if you mix them, oh look it's webbing he must be Spider-Man.
If the webbing is just ONE thing he buys (and presumably he is far from the only person buying it), then it's not something where anyone can use it to figure out he's Spider-Man.
