Part of this is remembering when my kids were a bit younger and when I was really exhausted I'd lie down on the couch with them and we'd watch PBS Kids or Sprout or whatever, but I think it also brings back feelings of being that age myself. Unless Sony specifically set up the PS1 Classic to keep the original loading times and performance, it should be noticeably faster, but there'll still be loading. Depends on the game, some games have hard-coded load times. Love em both though. cosigning Turtles in Time has more levels, more bosses, and is generally "flashier". But Hyperstone Heist's longer levels are better-designed and more challenging while still being fair. Also it's a very minor thing but Leonardo is basically unplayable on SNES because he's left defenseless for far too long at the end of his normal combo, but Genesis fixes this. And yeah Manhattan Project is super rad. It's pretty wild that all three of these games came out in the same year. --- SuperNiceDog didn't have to reconcile his name... Digital Eclipse's collections have mostly had 6 games, except for the Street Fighter one which technically had 12 but they were mostly variations on 4 core games. I think the Classicvania collection should probably be the 3 NES games, Super Castlevania IV, Rondo of Blood, and Bloodlines. They could maybe do a second Classicvania one with some of the games that are not as "core", like Vampire Killer, Haunted Castle, the B&W Game Boy games, Chronicles, the Kid Dracula games, Adventure ReBirth, Order of Shadows, Dracula X, and Dracula X Chronicles. Like seeing how the family dealt with BTW I thought Skyscraper was a really great action movie in the Die Hard vein, but it was hurt massively by having a trailer that showed everything.
